| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία εξετάζει την σημασία των πολυσύλλαβων λέξεων στην αξιολόγηση των παιδιών προσχολικής ηλικίας με διαταραχές στους ήχους της ομιλίας (Speech Sound Disorders), συγκριτικά με τα παιδιά τυπικής φωνολογικής ανάπτυξης. Μέσω βιβλιογραφικής ανασκόπησης, αναλύεται πως η χρήση των πολυσύλλαβων λέξεων μπορεί να αποκαλύψει σφάλματα και δυσκολίες κατά τις φωνολογικές διεργασίες, οι οποίες κατά βάση δεν γίνονται αντιληπτές με τις συμβατικές σταθμισμένες δοκιμασίες που περιλαμβάνουν κυρίως λέξεις με απλή φωνοτακτική δομή. Ακόμα, αναλύονται οι φωνολογικές και γνωστικές απαιτήσεις που εμπλέκονται στην παραγωγή των πολυσύλλαβων λέξεων, όπως ο φωνολογικός προγραμματισμός και η λεκτική μνήμη εργασίας. Παρουσιάζονται τα πιο συχνά φωνολογικά σφάλματα που εμφανίζονται στις πολυσύλλαβες λέξεις, όπως η απλοποίηση συμπλεγμάτων και η απαλοιφή των συλλαβών, αλλά και η διαγνωστική τους αξία για την διαφοροδιάγνωση μεταξύ της λεκτικής δυσπραξίας και της φωνολογικής καθυστέρησης. Τέλος υπογραμμίζεται η ανάγκη της ενσωμάτωσης των πολυσύλλαβων λέξεων στα αξιολογητικά πρωτόκολλα, καθώς μπορούν να συμβάλουν σε πιο ακριβή και πρώιμη παρέμβαση, λόγω των πληροφοριών που προσφέρουν σχετικά με την φωνολογική ωριμότητα και ανάπτυξη του παιδιού. | el |
| heal.abstract | This thesis examines the importance of multisyllabic words in the assessment of preschool children with Speech Sound Disorders, compared to children with typical phonological development. Through a literature review, it is analyzed how the use of multisyllabic words can reveal errors and difficulties during phonological processes, which are basically not perceived with conventional weighted tests, that mainly include words with simple phonotactic structure. Furthermore, the phonological demands cognitive demands involved in the production of multisyllabic words are analyzed, such as phonological programming and verbal working memory. The most common phonological errors that occur in multisyllabic words are presented, such as the simplification of complexes and the deletion of syllables, as well as their diagnostic value for the differential diagnosis between verbal dyspraxia and phonological delay. Finally, the need to incorporate multisyllabic words into assessment protocols is emphasized, as they can contribute to more accurate and early intervention, due to the information they offer regarding the child’sphonological maturity and development. | en |
