| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία τοποθετείται στο άμεσο μέλλον, 20 χρόνια από τώρα στο 2049 και διαμορφώνει μια ολοκληρωμένη πρόταση κατοίκησης ως απάντηση στις αλληλένδετες κρίσεις του αστικού περιβάλλοντος – στεγαστική, οικονομική και κλιματική – οι οποίες αναμένεται να ενταθούν στο μέλλον. Το οικοδομικό τετράγωνο επιλέγεται ως θεμελιώδης μονάδα παρέμβασης και αντιμετωπίζεται όχι απλώς ως χωρική ενότητα, αλλά ως πλαίσιο κοινωνικής οργάνωσης. Κεντρικός χειρισμός της πρότασης είναι η υιοθέτηση ενός συνεταιριστικού μοντέλου κατοίκησης, το οποίο επανεξετάζει τη συμβατική έννοια της πολυκατοικίας. Αντί της απομονωμένης ιδιοκτησίας, προτείνεται ένα σχήμα συλλογικής ιδιοκτησίας και διαχείρισης, με ενσωμάτωση κοινόχρηστων χώρων και λειτουργιών που ενθαρρύνουν τη συνύπαρξη και τη συνεργασία των κατοίκων. Παράλληλα, η περιβαλλοντική διάσταση αποτελεί αναπόσπαστο τμήμα της πρότασης. Ενσωματώνονται βιοκλιματικές στρατηγικές και αρχιτεκτονικές χειρονομίες που στοχεύουν στην ενίσχυση της ενεργειακής αυτονομίας και της κλιματικής ανθεκτικότητας του κτιριακού συνόλου. Η προσέγγιση αυτή αποσκοπεί όχι στην ανατροπή, αλλά στην ενίσχυση του υπάρχοντος αστικού ιστού, προσθέτοντας σε αυτόν μια νέα λειτουργική στρώση. Έτσι, δια- τηρείται η πολυπλοκότητα της πόλης, ενώ ταυτόχρονα εισάγεται ένα πρότυπο βιώσιμης εξέλιξής της. Μέσα από τη διασταύρωση κοινωνικών, περιβαλλοντικών και οικονομικών παραμέτρων, η πρόταση συγκροτεί ένα νέο συλλογικό πρότυπο κατοίκησης, το οποίο επαναπροσδιορίζει την έννοια της κατοικίας. Ο συνεταιρισμός κατοίκησης λειτουργεί ως εργαλείο αλλαγής, επιδιώκοντας να μετασχηματίσει τον τρόπο με τον οποίο αντιλαμβανόμαστε την πόλη και τη ζωή μέσα σε αυτή. | el |
| heal.abstract | This diploma thesis is set in the near future—twenty years from now, in 2049—and proposes an integrated housing model in response to the interlinked crises of the urban environment: housing, economic, and climate-related, all of which are expected to intensify in the coming decades. The Athenian urban block is chosen as the fundamental unit of intervention and is approached not merely as a spatial entity, but as a framework for social organization and collective action. At the heart of the proposal lies the adoption of a cooperative housing model that reconsiders the conventional notion of the apartment building. Instead of isolated private ownership, the project introduces a scheme of collective ownership and management, incorporating shared spaces and functions that promote coexistence, collaboration, and mutual support among residents. Environmental concerns are equally integral to the project. Bioclimatic strategies and architectural gestures are embedded to enhance energy autonomy and climate resilience within the building complex. Rather than aiming to disrupt the existing urban fabric, the proposal seeks to reinforce it by adding a new functional and socially sustainable layer—one that respects the complexity of the city while offering a model for its ecological and social evolution. Through the intersection of social, environmental, and economic dimensions, this project envisions a new collective paradigm of living. Cooperative housing becomes a tool for urban transformation, redefining the meaning of housing and reimagining how we inhabit and share life in the dense urban landscape of Athens. | en |
