| heal.abstract | Με τον όρο «διπλωματική εργασία» νοείται ένα συγγραφικό πόνημα που υποβάλλεται από τον εκάστοτε φοιτητή ως υποστήριξη της υποψηφιότητάς του για τη λήψη του ακαδημαϊκού πτυχίου του. Ο θεσμός της διπλωματικής εργασίας υφίσταται σε προπτυχιακό και μεταπτυχιακό επίπεδο. Στην παρούσα εργασία, αναλύεται η κατασκευή μιας ιστοσελίδας, η οποία θα μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί ως εργαλείο από τα Ακαδημαϊκά Ιδρύματα, στο πλαίσιο της διαδικασίας ανάθεσης, επίβλεψης, κατάθεσης και βαθμολόγησης μιας διπλωματικής εργασίας, διευκολύνοντας ταυτόχρονα τον φοιτητή, τον καθηγητή και το διοικητικό προσωπικό του Ιδρύματος. Στην ιστοσελίδα ενσωματώθηκαν συγκεκριμένες λειτουργίες για κάθε έναν από τους εξής τρεις χρήστες: τον φοιτητή, τον επιβλέποντα καθηγητή και το διοικητικό προσωπικό (Γραμματεία). Ο φοιτητής θα μπορεί να αιτηθεί την εκπόνηση της διπλωματικής του εργασίας από τη Γραμματεία του ιδρύματος και ο καθηγητής να διαθέσει μια γκάμα θεμάτων που άπτονται του ενδιαφέροντός του, από την οποία ο φοιτητής μπορεί να επιλέξει αυτό που επιθυμεί. Δίνεται η δυνατότητα στον φοιτητή να μεταφορτώνει αρχεία (κείμενα, πειραματικά δεδομένα, φωτογραφίες κλπ), ώστε ο επιβλέπων καθηγητής να μπορεί να ελέγχει σε πραγματικό χρόνο την πρόοδο της εργασίας, να εισηγείται τυχόν διορθώσεις και να υποβάλλει την τελική βαθμολογία της εργασίας. Στη Γραμματεία δίνεται η δυνατότητα να διαχειρίζεται τους λογαριασμούς των χρηστών (φοιτητών και καθηγητών), να ενημερώνεται για τις αναθέσεις των εργασιών και να έχει πρόσβαση στην τελική βαθμολογία. Όλα τα παραπάνω στοιχεία για τους χρήστες θα αποθηκεύονται σε μια βάση δεδομένων από όπου θα αντλούνται προκειμένου να υλοποιηθούν οι ζητούμενοι στόχοι. Μέσω του παραπάνω εργαλείου, επιτυγχάνεται ο εκσυχρονισμός και η ψηφιοποίηση της διαδικασίας ανάθεσης των εργασιών στο ακαδημαϊκό περιβάλλον, ελαχιστοποιώντας κατά το δυνατόν τις γραφειοκρατικές διαδικασίες που σήμερα υφίστανται. Η ενσωμάτωση ενός τέτοιου εργαλείου στις πρακτικές των Ακαδημαϊκών Ιδρυμάτων, πέρα από την απλοποίηση των διαδικασιών, εδραιώνει και έναν δίαυλο επικοινωνίας μεταξύ του Ιδρύματος και του φοιτητή, καθιστώντας το Πανεπιστήμιο σύγχρονο με την ψηφιακή εποχή. | el |
| heal.abstract | The term "diploma thesis" means a writing effort submitted by the student in support of his / her application for an academic degree. The institution of diploma thesis exists at undergraduate and postgraduate level. In the present work, the construction of a website is analyzed, which can be used as a tool by the Academic Institutions, in the context of the process of assigning, supervising, submitting and grading a diploma thesis, facilitating at the same time the student, the professor and the administrative staff of the department. The website incorporates specific functions for each of the following three users: the student, the supervising professor and the administrative staff (Secretariat). The student will be able to request the elaboration of his diploma thesis from the Secretariat of the institution and the professor will have a range of topics related to his interest, from which the student can choose what he wants. The student is given the opportunity to upload files (texts, experimental data, photos, etc.), so that the supervising teacher can monitor in real time the progress of the work, suggest any corrections and submit the final grade of the work. The Secretariat is given the opportunity to manage the accounts of users (students and teachers), to be informed about the assignments and to have access to the final grade. All the above information for the users will be stored in a database from where they will be extracted in order to achieve the requested objectives. Through the above tool, the modernization and digitization of the assignment process in the academic environment is achieved, minimizing as much as possible the bureaucratic procedures that currently exist. The integration of such a tool in the practices of the Academic Institutions, in addition to the simplification of the procedures, also establishes a channel of communication between the Institution and the student, making the University modern with the digital age. | en |
