| heal.abstract | Τα τελευταία 25 χρόνια, η αποϊδρυματοποίηση ατόμων με αναπηρία (ΑμεΑ) αποτέλεσε το επίκεντρο πολιτικών σε ευρωπαϊκό και παγκόσμιο επίπεδο. Στον ακαδημαϊκό κλάδο της ειδικής αγωγής, οι έρευνες σχετικά με τις δομές ανεξάρτητης διαβίωσης, τον τρόπο λειτουργίας τους και τις εμπειρίες των άμεσα εμπλεκομένων σε εκείνες είναι περιορισμένες. Στην Ελλάδα, από το 2007 και έπειτα, άρχισαν να ιδρύονται όλο και περισσότερες Στέγες Υποστηριζόμενης Διαβίωσης (ΣΥΔ). Πρόκειται για οργανωμένες κατοικίες που στοχεύουν στην μόνιμη και ασφαλή διαβίωση ενηλίκων με οποιαδήποτε μορφή αναπηρίας, μέσω της παροχής εξατομικευμένης υποστήριξης από ειδικό προσωπικό. Η παρούσα εργασία, έχοντας ως δείγμα 95 γονείς και 107 φροντιστές ΑμεΑ, επικεντρώθηκε στην διερεύνηση της λειτουργίας των ΣΥΔ ως τόπων εκπαίδευσης ΑμεΑ καθώς και των εμπειριών των συμμετεχόντων όσον αφορά: α) την Ψυχολογία Γονέων και Φροντιστών, β) τις Σχέσεις μεταξύ των δύο, των Ωφελουμένων και των Φορέων, γ) τα Οφέλη τις Υποστηριζόμενης Διαβίωσης και τις Προτάσεις Βελτίωσης, μέσω δύο δομημένων ερωτηματολογίων αυτοαναφοράς. Τα αποτελέσματα αποκάλυψαν στατιστικά σημαντικές συσχετίσεις μεταξύ των ανεξάρτητων και εξαρτημένων μεταβλητών αναφορικά και με τις τρεις θεματικές ενότητες. Άξιες αναφοράς είναι οι συσχετίσεις μεταξύ της πηγής των τροφείων και των απόψεων των γονέων/συγγενών/δικαστικών εκπροσώπων σχετικά με τη λειτουργία των ΣΥΔ. Όσοι λάμβαναν χρήματα από το ΕΟΠΠΥ/ΕΣΠΑ ήταν περισσότερο ανήσυχοι για το μέλλον του παιδιού και την επαρκή κάλυψη των αναγκών του, και αποτρέπουν άλλους γονείς από το να εγκαταστήσουν τα παιδιά τους σε μία στέγη. Σχετικά με τους φροντιστές, το επίπεδο εκπαίδευσης τους, ο τύπος εξειδίκευσης στην Ειδική Αγωγή και τα έτη εργασιακής εμπειρίας, επηρεάζουν τόσο την ψυχολογία όσο και τις σχέσεις μεταξύ τους αλλά και με τους ωφελουμένους, γονείς και φορείς. Η ανάλυση των ερωτήσεων ανοικτού τύπου επιβεβαιώνει την αποτελεσματικότητα των ΣΥΔ ως τόπων εκπαίδευσης των ΑμεΑ, σε τομείς όπως η ανεξάρτητη διαβίωση, οι κοινωνικές δεξιότητες, κλπ. Τα ευρήματα οδηγούν σε μια πιο εμπεριστατωμένη κατανόηση της λειτουργίας των ΣΥΔ και τονίζουν την ανάγκη ενίσχυσης της δια βίου εκπαίδευσης και της επαγγελματικής κατάρτισης των ωφελουμένων. | el |
| heal.abstract | Over the last 25 years, the deinstitutionalization of persons with disabilities has been the focus of policies at a European and global level. Ιn the field of special education, the studies on independent living accommodations, their function and the experiences of those directly involved in them are limited. In Greece, from 2007 onwards, there has been an increased interest in the establishment of Supported Living Accommodations (SLA). These are organized residences aiming at the permanent and safe living of adults with any type of disability through the provision of individualized support by specialized staff. The present study, having as a sample 95 parents and 107 caregivers of people with disabilities, focused on the investigation of the operation of SLAs as educational locus for people with disabilities as well as the experiences of the participants regarding: a) the Psychology of Parents and Caregivers, b) the Relationships between the two, the Beneficiaries and the Institutions, c) the Benefits of Supported Living and Suggestions for Improvement, through two individual completion questionnaires. The results revealed statistically significant correlations between the independent and dependent variables. The correlations between the source of funding and the views of parents/relatives/legal representatives are noteworthy. Those who received money from EOPPY/ESPA were more concerned about the child's future, as their needs are not fully met and prevent other parents from placing their children in an SLA. Regarding caregivers, their level of education, type of specialization in special education and years of work experience, affect both their psychology and the relationships between them, the beneficiaries, parents, and other institutions. The analysis of the open-ended questions confirms the effectiveness of SLAs as educational locus for persons with disabilities, in areas such as independent living, social skills, etc. The findings lead to an in-depth understanding of the functioning of SLAs and stress the importance of lifelong education and vocational training for the beneficiaries. | en |
