| heal.abstract | Η αρχιτεκτονική πρόσοψη υπήρξε αφετηρία εκτεταμένων πειραματισμών και καινοτομιών καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια του 20ου αιώνα και συνεχίζει να είναι μέχρι και σήμερα. Αυτή η εργασία αποτελεί μια προσπάθεια διερεύνησης και κατανόησης της επικοινωνίας των διαφορετικών τύπων όψεων των κτιρίων που είναι απόρροια των αξιών, των τεχνολογικών επιτευγμάτων αλλά και των αντιλήψεων της κάθε εποχής με το εκάστοτε περιβάλλον. Η εργασία στηρίζεται στο πως επηρεάζεται η μορφολογία των όψεων μέσα στην περίοδο στην οποία σχεδιάζεται και υλοποιείται. Καθ’ όλη την διάρκεια προκύπτουν και άλλα ερωτήματα: αν η όψη είναι κάτι παραπάνω από ένα διαχωριστικό και προστατευτικό στοιχείο του κτιρίου, πώς ο αρχιτέκτονας αποφασίζει την μορφή του, κατά πόσο επηρεάζεται από το μέγεθος, την ογκοπλασία, τα υλικά αλλά και πώς έχει εξελιχθεί σήμερα ο σχεδιασμός τους. Η δομή της εργασίας χωρίζεται σε μια ιστορική αναδρομή από την αρχαιότητα μέχρι τις αρχές του 20ου αιώνα και έως σήμερα, τονίζοντας κατά πόσο έχει επηρεαστεί ο σχεδιασμός των όψεων από την τεχνολογική ανάπτυξη και τις κοινωνικοπολιτικές εξελίξεις κάθε εποχής. Φτάνοντας στο σήμερα δίνεται έμφαση στην ψηφιακή εποχή και το πώς επηρεάζει τον αρχιτεκτονικό σχεδιασμό των όψεων και μάλιστα στην πιο διαδεδομένη μέθοδο σχεδιασμού των προσόψεων, αυτή της παραμετρικότητας. Η αναφορά παραδειγμάτων κατά την διάρκεια της εργασίας, στοχεύει στην καλύτερη κατανόηση των τρόπων δόμησης και του θεωρητικού υπόβαθρου στο οποίο βασίζεται κάθε εποχή. | el |
| heal.abstract | The architectural façade was the starting point for extensive experimentation and innovation throughout the 20th century and continues to be so to this day. This paper is an attempt to explore and understand the communication of different types of building facades that are an outgrowth of values, technological advances and perceptions of each era with their respective environments. The work is based on how the morphology of facades is influenced within the period in which it is designed and implemented. Throughout, other questions arise: whether the façade is more than just a separating and protective element of the building, how the architect decides its form, how much it is influenced by size, massing, materials and how their design has evolved today. The structure of the paper is divided into a historical review from antiquity to the early 20th century and up to the present day, highlighting how much the design of facades has been influenced by the technological development and socio-political developments of each era. Moving on to the present day, emphasis is placed on the digital age and how it affects the architectural design of facades and indeed the most widespread method of facade design, that of parametric architecture. The reference of examples throughout the paper aims to provide a better understanding of the ways of building and the theoretical background on which each era is based. | en |
