| heal.abstract | Ο όρος ‘’στάση’’ αντικατοπτρίζει τις κρίσεις, τις απόψεις και τις ιδέες των ατόμων, ανεξαρτήτως αν έχουν αρνητικό ή θετικό πρόσημο, απέναντι σε καταστάσεις, σε μεμονωμένους ανθρώπους ή σε συγκεκριμένες κοινωνικές ομάδες. Η παρούσα εργασία επιχειρεί να αναδείξει τις στάσεις εκπαιδευτικών απέναντι σε πρακτικές ευγονικής που αφορούν τα άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία. Ειδικότερα, επικεντρώνεται στην διερεύνηση των παραγόντων που μπορεί να επηρεάζουν τη διαμόρφωση στάσεων απέναντι στο εν λόγω θέμα. Το δείγμα της έρευνας αποτελείται από 223 εκπαιδευτικούς οι οποίοι εργάζονται σε Σχολεία γενικής ή ειδικής αγωγής. Ως εργαλείο έρευνας αξιοποιήθηκε ερωτηματολόγιο αυτοαναφοράς, το οποίο απαρτίζεται από δύο μέρη. Το πρώτο μέρος περιλαμβάνει ερωτήσεις δημογραφικού χαρακτήρα και το δεύτερο μέρος περιλαμβάνει την κλίμακα ΄΄Attitudes Toward Mental Retardation and Eugenics΄΄ του Antonak et al.. Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας έδειξαν ότι το επίπεδο σπουδών, τα επιπλέον προσόντα, σε τι δομή εργάζονται οι εκπαιδευτικοί, οι σπουδές/ επιμόρφωση στην ειδική αγωγή, το θρήσκευμα , οι πολιτικές πεποιθήσεις, η γνωριμία ατόμου με νοητική αναπηρία το οποίο είναι γονέας, η συμφωνία στη διακοπή της κύησης σε περίπτωση συνδρόμου καθώς και η βαρύτητα της νοητικής αναπηρίας είναι παράγοντες οι οποίοι επηρεάζουν τις στάσεις απέναντι στην ευγονική στα άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία. | el |
| heal.abstract | The term 'attitude' reflects the judgments, opinions and ideas of individuals, whether negative or positive, towards situations, individuals or specific social groups. This paper attempts to highlight teachers' attitudes towards eugenics practices concerning people with intellectual disabilities. In particular, it focuses on exploring the factors that may influence the formation of attitudes towards this issue. The research sample consisted of 223 teachers working in general or special education schools. A self-report questionnaire was utilized as a research tool, which consists of two parts. The first part included questions of demographic nature and the second part included the scale ΄΄Attitudes Toward Mental Retardation and Eugenics΄΄ by Antonak et al. The results of the survey showed that the level of education, additional qualifications, what structure teachers work in, special education studies/training, religion, political beliefs, knowing a person with intellectual disability who is a parent, agreeing to terminate pregnancy in case of syndrome, as well as the severity of intellectual disability are factors that influence attitudes towards eugenics in people with mental retardation. | en |
