This short recall in happenings of worldwide importance like the Christianization of the Slavic world of the East ten centuries ago is certain to give the chance for vital conclusions. So, these ten centuries of history come to confirm that the acceptance of the Byzantine civilization by the Slavic world was not only a political victory of Byzantium but was also the basis for the creation of a Slavic civilization with an Orthodox consciousness. But that, which ensured the bond between Byzantium and the Slavic world is the result of two factors: the liturgical life through the hymnology of the Orthodox East and the preaching of the Holy Fathers, that is the written part of the byzantine tradition. Besides, factors of this achievement are not only the spreading fo the Greek language and Greek education but also the rich translated Byzantine literature. This translated Christian and temporal production of Byzantium was not just carrying a healthy civilization but enriched firstly the Slavic language and made it from just a means of interaction to an intellectual mean and secondly it created the greatest intellectual centres:Constantinoupolis, Agion Oros, Palestine and Kiev. During the long lasting way of these relations there was an attempt to reduce to minimum the size of the effect of Byzantium to the state of Kiev. The parenthesis of the Soviet Union helped in that, firstly claiming that all the success of the Russian civilization in pre-mongolic era was a result of the Russian historical reality and secondly, mentioning a «first and second South Slavic affecting Russia» to develop the notion that Russia literature was taken by the Slavic world of the south, particularly the Bulgarians.en
