| heal.abstract | Τὸ ἄρθρο συζητᾶ τὶς σημασιολογικὲς ρίζες τοῦ ἐρωτήματος τοῦ ΠΠΠ. Ἀνακρίνει, κατ’ ἀρχήν, τὴν διατύπωσή του, θεωρώντας πὼς κάθε προτεινόμενη ἀπάντηση ὀφείλει νὰ ξεκαθαρίσει τὶς στρατηγικὲς τῆς ἀνάγνωσής της καὶ τὶς ἑρμηνευτικές της προϋποθέσεις. Καί, τελικά, τὴν σχέση της μὲ τὴν γλώσσα. Ἡ πρόθεση τοῦ ἐπιχειρήματος εἶναι νὰ τοποθετηθεῖ τὸ θέμα τοῦ θανάτου ἑνὸς ἀνθρώπου ἀνάμεσα σὲ μιὰν ὑποκειμενικότητα στενὰ ἀτομικὴ καὶ μιὰν ἄλλη εὐρύτερα διυποκειμενική, ποὺ χαρακτηρίζεται, ἀκριβῶς, ἀπὸ μιὰ γλώσσα. Μιὰ τέτοια πρόθεση ἀναδεικνύει τὸ ἐνδιαφέρον ποὺ ἔχει μιὰ προσέγγιση τῆς ἔννοιας τοῦ προσώπου σὰν γλωσσικὴ κατασκευὴ τοῦ « ἐγώ ». Στὴν συνέχεια, ὑποθέτοντας πὼς πρέπει νὰ πεθαίνουμε, ὅταν κάποια αἰτία ὁδηγεῖ στὴν ἄρση τῆς διυποκειμενικότητας ποὺ ἐγγυᾶται αὐτὸ ποὺ εἴμαστε ὡς πρόσωπα, τὸ ἄρθρο προτείνει μιὰ σύντομη συζήτηση τοῦ ΠΠΠ ὑπὸ τὸ φῶς τῆς αἰτιότητας. Ἡ συζήτηση αὐτὴ φέρει στὸ πρῶτο πλάνο τὸ θέμα τῆς ποιότητας τῆς ζωῆς, ἡ ὁποία δὲν φαίνεται νὰ μπορεῖ νὰ περιοριστεῖ στὴν ὑλικὴ αἰτιότητα καὶ μόνον. Καταλήγει, τέλος, σὲ μιὰ διαπίστωση : πὼς ἕνας καλὸς θάνατος εἶναι μιὰ συνισταμένη πολλῶν « καλῶν θανάτων », ὁ καθένας ἀπὸ τοὺς ὁποίους φέρει τὴν σφραγίδα μιᾶς καθ’ ἡμᾶς ζωτικῆς διυποκειμενικότητας. | el |
| heal.abstract | This paper explores the semantic roots of the question “When Should we Die?” (WSD). It begins by questioning its formulation, considering that any proposed answer must clarify the strategies of its reading and the principles of its interpretation, and, furthermore, its relations with language. The intention of our argument is to situate the theme of the death of a human being between a strictly atomic subjectivity and a broader intersubjectivity characterised, precisely, by a language. Such an intention reveals the interest of an approach to the notion of person as a linguistic construction of the “I”. Then, by assuming that we should die when some cause leads to the suppression of the intersubjectivity that ensures who we are as persons, the paper proposes a brief discussion of the WSD problem in the light of causality. This discussion brings to the fore the theme of the quality of life that doesn’t seem to be limited to a material cause. Finally, the paper concludes with the observation that a beautiful death is the result of several “beautiful deaths”, each of which bears the mark of an intersubjectivity that is vital for us all. | en |
