| heal.abstract | Στην παρούσα εργασία σκοπός ήταν να διερευνηθεί ο ρόλος της συναισθηματικής νοημοσύνης και του αυτοπροσδιορισμού στην ποιότητας ζωής ατόμων με αναπηρία. Για το σκοπό αυτό πραγματοποιήθηκε μια συγχρονική έρευνα σε δείγμα 96 ατόμων με αναπηρία (σωματική/ κινητική αναπηρία, νοητική αναπηρία, ψυχική αναπηρία, σπλαχνική αναπηρία, αισθητηριακή αναπηρία και πολλαπλές αναπηρίες). Η συλλογή των δεδομένων πραγματοποιήθηκε με χρήση των κλιμάκων Emotional Quotient Inventory, The Arc'sSelf - DeterminationScale – Adolescent Version και WHOQOL-BREF. Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν πως τα άτομα με αναπηρία έχουν ένα μέτριο επίπεδο συναισθηματικής νοημοσύνης, ενώ εμφάνισαν ένα μέτριο προς χαμηλό επίπεδο αυτοπροσδιορισμού (διαστάσεις ανεξαρτησίας, αυτορρύθμισης, ψυχολογικής ενδυνάμωσης και αυτοπραγμάτωσης). Επιπλέον, τα ευρήματα έδειξαν πως τα άτομα με αναπηρία έχουν ένα σχετικά καλό επίπεδο ποιότητας ζωής (μέτριο επίπεδο κοινωνικών σχέσεων και ποιότητας ζωής που αφορά το περιβάλλον τους και μέτριο προς υψηλό επίπεδο σωματικής υγείας και ψυχικής υγείας). Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας επιβεβαίωσαν πως η συναισθηματική νοημοσύνη και ο αυτοπροσδιορισμός των ατόμων με αναπηρία είναι σημαντικός προβλεπτικός παράγοντας της ποιότητας ζωής τους. | el |
| heal.abstract | In this thesis the aim was to investigate the role of emotional intelligence and self-determination in the quality of life of people with disabilities. For this purpose, a cross-sectional survey was carried out on a sample of 96 people with disabilities (physical/motor disability, mental disability, mental disability, visceral disability, sensory disability and multiple disabilities). Data collection was performed using the Emotional Quotient Inventory, The Arc's Self-Determination Scale-Adolescent Version and WHOQOL-BREF scales. The results showed that people with disabilities have a moderate level of emotional intelligence while they showed a moderate to low level of self-determination (dimensions of independence, self-regulation, psychological empowerment and self-actualization). In addition, the findings showed that people with MS have a relatively good level of quality of life (moderate level of social relationships and quality of life related to their environment and moderate to high level of physical health and mental health). The results of the research confirmed that the emotional intelligence and self-determination of people with disabilities is an important predictive factor of their quality of life. | en |
