| heal.abstract | Από τα πιο συχνά χαρακτηριστικά των ατόμων με νοητική αναπηρία είναι ότι παρουσιάζουν δυσκολίες στις γλωσσικές δεξιότητες. Επίσης, η κατάκτηση των αναγνωστικών δεξιοτήτων αποτελεί περιοχή δυσκολιών σε αυτό τον πληθυσμό. Σκοπός της παρούσας ερευνητικής εργασίας είναι ο εντοπισμός των προβλημάτων προφορικού και γραπτού λόγου σε ενήλικα άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία και η αποτίμηση της συσχέτισής τους. Το δείγμα της έρευνας αποτελέσαν πέντε ενήλικα άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία, ηλικίας 20 έως 26 ετών, εκ των οποίων τα περισσότερα ήταν κορίτσια. Τόσο ο προφορικός όσο και ο γραπτός τους λόγος ηχογραφήθηκε και αναλύθηκε αποκλειστικά για την εξυπηρέτηση των σκοπών της έρευνας. Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας έδειξαν ότι όλοι οι συμμετέχοντες εμφάνισαν κατά μέσο όρο ποσοστό φωνολογικών λαθών 33% στην συνολική παραγόμενη αφήγησή τους, και αντίστοιχα ποσοστό 22,77% αναγνωστικών λαθών κατά την ανάγνωσή τους. Τα ποσοστά αυτά σηματοδοτούν ότι τόσο οι δυσκολίες στον προφορικό όσο και στον γραπτό λόγο των ενηλίκων με νοητική αναπηρία δεν είναι αμελητέες και επιμένουν μέχρι και την ενήλικη ζωή. Επιπροσθέτως, από τα παρόντα αποτελέσματα φάνηκε ότι τόσο η ομιλία όσο και η αποκωδικοποίηση των συμμετεχόντων δεν συμβαδίζει απόλυτα με την μη – λεκτική τους ικανότητα. Επομένως, κρίνεται αναγκαίο να συνεχίζονται οι εκπαιδευτικές και οι λογοθεραπευτικές παρεμβάσεις για την περαιτέρω ενίσχυσή τους στις δυσκολίες που αντιμετωπίζουν, διότι οι ανάγκες τους επιμένουν έως και την ενήλικη ζωή. | el |
| heal.abstract | One of the most common characteristics of people with intellectual disabilities is their difficulty with language skills. Mastering reading skills is also an area of difficulty. The purpose of this research is to identify the oral and written language problems in adults with intellectual disabilities and to assess their correlation. The research sample consisted of five adults with intellectual disabilities, aged 20 to 26, most of them were girls. Both their oral and written speech was recorded and analyzed exclusively for the purpose of this research. Results of the research showed that all participants performed on average with phonological errors of 33% in their complete produced narrative, and a corresponding percentage of reading errors of 22.77% during their reading. These percentages indicate that both oral and written language difficulties of adults with mental disabilities are not negligible and persist even into adulthood. In addition, it appeared from the present results that both the speaking and decoding of the participants did not perfectly match their non-verbal intelligence. Therefore, it is considered necessary that the educational and speech therapy interventions continue in order to further strengthen them with the difficulties they face, as their needs persist until the adult life. | en |
