| heal.abstract | Οι διεθνείς διατάξεις υπογραμμίζουν την αναγκαιότητα για ισότιμη κοινωνική συμμετοχή και ατομική πρόοδο όλων των πολιτών με ή δίχως αναπηρία. Σε ευθυγράμμιση με την υφιστάμενη διεθνή νομοθεσία, οι δυνατότητες έκφρασης της βούλησης των ατόμων με αναπηρία ενισχύονται μέσα από το πρίσμα του κοινωνικού μοντέλου κατανόησης της αναπηρίας. Η επίκαιρη επισκόπηση του νομικού πλαισίου ως προς την άσκηση του εκλογικού δικαιώματος των ατόμων με αναπηρία στην Ελλάδα διαπιστώνει σημαντικές προκλήσεις ως προς την ισοτιμία των υποκειμένων δικαίου. Με βάση αυτές τις επισημάνσεις, η παρούσα εργασία επιχειρεί να διερευνήσει τις απόψεις των γονέων παιδιών με και δίχως αναπηρία ως προς το δικαίωμα των ατόμων με νοητική αναπηρία στην άσκηση του εκλογικού δικαιώματος. Το δείγμα της έρευνας αποτέλεσαν εκατόν δεκαεεννιά (119) γονείς, εκ των οποίων εξήντα ένα (63) γονείς παιδιών τυπικής ανάπτυξης και πενήντα έξι (56) γονείς παιδιών με αναπηρία, οι οποίοι συμπλήρωσαν ερωτηματολόγιο αυτοαναφοράς. Συγκεκριμένα, μελετήθηκαν διαστάσεις που αφορούν στο βαθμό αυτοδιάθεσης που παραχωρούν οι γονείς στα παιδιά τους, στις αντιλήψεις των γονέων αναφορικά με τα ζητήματα της αναπηρίας και της πολιτικής συμμετοχής και της άσκησης του εκλογικού δικαιώματος από τα άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία. Η ανάλυση των δεδομένων ανέδειξε ότι οι παράμετροι της αυτοδιάθεσης, της ενθάρρυνσης, της πολιτικής αντίληψης και του μοντέλου μέσω του οποίου οι γονείς αντιλαμβάνονται την αναπηρία επηρεάζουν σημαντικά τις απόψεις τους αναφορικά με το “δικαίωμα του εκλέγειν”. | el |
| heal.abstract | International provisions underline the need for equal social participation and individual progress for all citizens with or without disabilities. In line with existing international law, the possibilities of expressing the will of persons with disabilities are enhanced through the prism of the social model of understanding disability. The current review of the legal framework regarding the exercise of the suffrage of persons with disabilities in Greece identifies significant challenges in terms of the equality of legal entities. Based on these findings, the present study attempts to investigate the views of parents of children with and without disabilities regarding the right of persons with intellectual disabilities to exercise their right to vote. The research sample consisted of one hundred and nineteen (119) parents, of which sixty three (63) parents of children with normal development and fifty six (56) parents of children with disabilities, who completed a self-report questionnaire. Specifically, dimensions were studied regarding the degree of autonomy of people with intellectual disabilities, parents' perceptions regarding the issue of political participation and the exercise of the right to vote by these people.
