| heal.abstract | Με την παρούσα εργασία επιχειρείται η διερεύνηση της διαπολιτισμικής ετοιμότητας των διευθυντών/ντριών σχολικών μονάδων Δευτεροβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης, στις οποίες λειτουργούν Τάξεις Υποδοχής για την εκπαίδευση μαθητών/τριών με προσφυγικό και μεταναστευτικό υπόβαθρο. Συγκεκριμένα, η ερευνητική προσπάθεια εστιάζει στην εξέταση και εκτίμηση της επάρκειας των διευθυντών/ντριών σε θέματα διαπολιτισμικής ηγεσίας σε επίπεδο σπουδών και επιμορφώσεων, της ετοιμότητάς τους για την ένταξη και συμπερίληψη προσφύγων μαθητών/τριών στην τυπική εκπαίδευση και τελικά, της διαπολιτισμικής διάστασης στην ηγεσία τους, όπως τεκμαίρεται από την υιοθέτηση καλών πρακτικών διαπολιτισμικής εκπαίδευσης και στρατηγικών συμπερίληψης των αλλοδαπών μαθητών/τριών. Για τη διεξαγωγή της έρευνας εφαρμόστηκαν ποσοτικές και ποιοτικές μέθοδοι. Ως ερευνητικά εργαλεία για τη συλλογή των δεδομένων επιλέχθηκαν το ερωτηματολόγιο και η ημιδομημένη συνέντευξη. Η ανάλυση των αποτελεσμάτων της έρευνας έγινε με τη χρήση περιγραφικής στατιστικής μεθόδου για το ερωτηματολόγιο και θεματικής ποιοτικής ανάλυσης για το περιεχόμενο των συνεντεύξεων. Από τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας διαπιστώνεται, σε γενικές γραμμές με όλους τους περιορισμούς της έρευνας, ότι οι γνώσεις και η κατάρτιση των διευθυντών/ντριών σε θέματα διαπολιτισμικής εκπαίδευσης και ηγεσίας είναι ελλιπείς. Ωστόσο, καταγράφεται υψηλός βαθμός ετοιμότητας των στελεχών. Η ετοιμότητα τους αποδίδεται στην εμπειρία τους ως εκπαιδευτικοί και ως διευθυντές/ντριες σε σχολεία στα οποία φοιτούσε ικανός αριθμός αλλοδαπών μαθητών/τριών, παρά στις θεωρητικές τους γνώσεις. Παράλληλα, οι διαπολιτισμικές πρακτικές ηγεσίας είναι αποσπασματικές και συνήθως, εξαντλούνται σε εκδηλώσεις πολιτισμικού εορτασμού. Όμως, οι διευθυντές/ντριες καταβάλλουν σημαντικές προσπάθειες για την ένταξη των προσφύγων μαθητών/τριών παρά τις ελλείψεις σε εκπαιδευτικό προσωπικό και πόρους. Συμπερασματικά, η επιμόρφωση των στελεχών εκπαίδευσης στη διαπολιτισμική ηγεσία πρέπει να αποτελέσει προτεραιότητα για την πολιτεία στο άμεσο μέλλον, όπως και η έμπρακτη ενίσχυση των δομών εκπαίδευσης προσφύγων και η μεταρρύθμιση του νομοθετικού πλαισίου της. | el |
| heal.abstract | The present paper attempts to investigate the intercultural readiness of the principals of Secondary Education school units, in which there are Reception Classes for the education of students with refugee and immigrant background. Specifically, the research effort focuses on examining and assessing the adequacy of principals in matters of intercultural leadership considering their level of studies and training, their readiness for the integration and inclusion of refugee students in formal education and finally, their intercultural education, as presumed by the adoption of good intercultural education practices and inclusion strategies of foreign students. Quantitative and qualitative methods were used to conduct the research. The questionnaire and the personal semi-structured interview were selected as research tools for data collection. The analysis of the research results was done using descriptive statistical method for the questionnaire and thematic qualitative analysis of the content of the interviews. The results of the research show, with all the limitations of the research, that the knowledge and training of directors in matters of intercultural education and leadership is incomplete. However, a high degree of readiness of the executives is recorded. Their readiness is attributed to their experience as teachers and as principals in schools attended by a sufficient number of foreign students, despite their limited theoretical knowledge. At the same time, intercultural leadership practices are fragmented and usually exhausted on cultural celebrations. However, principals make significant efforts to integrate refugee students despite the lack of teaching staff and resources. In conclusion, the training of education executives in intercultural leadership should be a priority for the state in the near future, as well as the practical strengthening of refugee education structures and the reform of its legislative frameworκ. | en |
