| heal.abstract | Έρευνες στο περιεχόµενο των βιβλίων παιδικής λογοτεχνίας εντοπίζουν µεγάλο αριθµό λαθών και ανακριβειών στον τοµέα των Φυσικών Επιστηµών. Εµπειρικές µελέτες επίσης συµπεραίνουν πως η παιδική λογοτεχνία και η αφήγηση ιστοριών συµβάλλουν στη δηµιουργία εναλλακτικών ιδεών στα παιδιά. Σκοπός αυτής της µελέτης είναι να εντοπιστούν και να καταγραφούν τα λάθη και οι ανακρίβειες, σε σχέση µε έννοιες και φαινόµενα των Φυσικών Επιστηµών, στα λαϊκά παραµύθια. Το δείγµα αποτέλεσαν 55 παραµύθια των Perrault, Grimm και Andersen. Τα κείµενα αναλύθηκαν ως προς την ακρίβεια του περιεχοµένου τους και τις πιθανές εναλλακτικές ιδέες που µπορούν να δηµιουργήσουν. Η µέθοδος που χρησιµοποιήθηκε είναι η ποιοτική ανάλυση περιεχοµένου. Από την ανάλυση προέκυψαν 20 κατηγορίες στις Φυσικές Επιστήµες στις οποίες εντάσσονται τα λάθη και οι ανακρίβειες. Για κάθε κατηγορία, παρατίθενται παραδείγµατα αποσπασµάτων, η αντίστοιχη επιστηµονική άποψη και τέλος οι εναλλακτικές ιδέες που µπορεί να δηµιουργηθούν στα παιδιά. Από τα αποτελέσµατα προκύπτει πως άµεσα ή έµµεσα τα κείµενα περιέχουν µη σωστές αναπαραστάσεις επιστηµονικών εννοιών. Τα λαϊκά παραµύθια θα µπορούσαν να δηµιουργήσουν εναλλακτικές ιδέες σε ποικίλες περιοχές των φυσικών επιστηµών. Η ανάλυση και η συζήτηση δίνουν τη δυνατότητα σε δασκάλους και ερευνητές να εντοπίσουν κοινά χαρακτηριστικά των λαθών και των ανακριβειών που καταγράφηκαν. | el |
| heal.abstract | Surveys have revealed high levels of science errors and inaccuracies in the content of children’s books. Empirical studies, also, conclude that children’s literature and storytelling contribute to the formation of alternative ideas in children. The purpose of this research is to record errors and inaccuracies of science imbedded in folktales. About 55 folktales written by Perrault, Grimm and Andersen were identified and examined for the current study. These folktales were reviewed for content accuracy and possible alternative ideas communicated in text. Texts were processed via qualitative content analysis method. About 20 categories of errors and inaccuracies were formed. For each category, examples of quotes from the folktales are given, together with the scientific consensus view and examples of alternative ideas. It is concluded that incorrect science concepts are communicated explicitly or implicitly. Folktales could communicate alternative ideas in a variety of fields. The analysis and discussion provide the opportunity for teachers and researchers to identify common characteristics of the errors and inaccuracies which were recorded. | en |
