| heal.abstract | Η οικολογική αρχιτεκτονική, πέραν της λειτουργικότητας και της μορφολογίας, επικεντρώνεται στις συνθήκες άνεσης των χρηστών, στη χρήση οικολογικών υλικών και στην ποιότητα της κατασκευής. Οφείλει, πλέον και σύμφωνα με την ευρωπαϊκή και εθνική νομοθεσία, να εφαρμόζεται ως φιλοσοφία σχεδιασμού και στα κτίρια σχολείων με στόχο την άνεση των μαθητών, την ελαχιστοποίηση του ενεργειακού αποτυπώματος και την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος. Τα οικολογικά υλικά είναι ανακυκλώσιμα και αφομοιώσιμα από το περιβάλλον, δεν απαιτούν μεγάλη κατανάλωση ενέργειας για την παραγωγή και επεξεργασία τους, δεν καταναλώνουν μεγάλες ποσότητες φυσικών και πρώτων υλών και δεν είναι τοξικά ή βλαβερά για την υγεία των χρηστών και για το περιβάλλον. Η διαμόρφωση και η κατασκευή του σχολικού κτιρίου επηρεάζει την υγεία αλλά και τη μαθησιακή επίδοση και τη συμπεριφορά των μαθητών. Η χρήση των οικολογικών υλικών στην κατασκευή των σχολικών κτιρίων είναι σημαντική, διότι το σχολείο θεωρείται το δεύτερο σπίτι ενός παιδιού και σίγουρα ο χώρος αυτός οφείλει να ανταποκρίνεται στις προσδοκίες των γονέων. Τα περιβαλλοντικά χαρακτηριστικά της τάξης, όπως το φως, η θερμική άνεση, η ακουστική και η αισθητική, καθώς και η ποιότητα του εσωτερικού αέρα, συσχετίζονται απόλυτα με την απόδοση και τη συμπεριφορά των μαθητών και των εκπαιδευτικών. Επομένως, οι συνθήκες θερμικής, οπτικής και ακουστικής άνεσης είναι εξέχουσας σημασίας για κάθε σχολική αίθουσα. Για την διερεύνηση και κατανόηση όλων των παραπάνω, θα αναλυθούν στην εργασία παραδείγματα από κτίρια σχολείων, στην Ελλάδα αλλά και το εξωτερικό, που σχεδιάστηκαν με οικολογικά υλικά και με σεβασμό στις αρχές του βιοκλιματικού σχεδιασμού. Στη συνέχεια, θα συνοψιστούν όλοι οι λόγοι για τους οποίους είναι αναγκαία η σχεδίαση των σχολικών κτιρίων με βάση την οικολογική και βιοκλιματική αρχιτεκτονική, ώστε ο χώρος όπου τα παιδιά περνούν το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της παιδικής τους ηλικίας να τους προσφέρει το κατάλληλο περιβάλλον για την υγιή σωματική και πνευματική τους ανάπτυξη. | el |
| heal.abstract | Ecological architecture, in addition to functionality and morphology, focuses on its users' comfort conditions, the use of ecological materials and the quality of construction. In accordance with European and national legislation, ecological architecture must be applied as a design philosophy to school buildings as well, so that students feel comfortable, the energy footprint is minimized and the environment is protected. Ecological materials are recyclable and can be assimilated by the environment. They do not require high energy consumption in order to be produced and processed and neither do they consume large amounts of natural and raw materials. Moreover, they are not toxic and they do not harm the users' health or the environment. The configuration and construction of school buildings affects the health but also the learning performance and behaviour of students. The use of ecological materials in the construction of school buildings is important, because schools are considered a child's second home and certainly they must meet the parents' expectations. The environmental characteristics of a classroom, such as light, thermal comfort, acoustics and aesthetics, as well as the indoor air quality, are closely related to the students' and teachers' performance and behaviour. Therefore, thermal, visual and acoustic comfort conditions are paramount for any classroom. In order to investigate and understand all of the above, this paper will analyze examples of school buildings, in Greece and from abroad, that have been designed with ecological materials and are in accordance with the principles of bioclimatic design.
