| heal.abstract | Η συγκεκριμένη εργασία εστιάζεται στον σχεδιασμό και την υλοποίηση διδακτικής παρέμβασης στο πλαίσιο της βασιζόμενης στο ψηφιακό παιχνίδι μάθησης (digital game-based learning) για τις ανάγκες του μαθήματος της Κοινωνικής και Πολιτικής Αγωγής. Αναλυτικότερα, διερευνήθηκε η αποτελεσματικότητα της χρήσης ειδικά σχεδιασμένου εικονικού κόσμου του εκπαιδευτικού ηλεκτρονικού παιχνιδιού Minecraft: Education Edition ως εργαλείου μάθησης κατά τη διδασκαλία της ενότητας «Τα δικαιώματα του παιδιού» του σχολικού εγχειριδίου της ΣΤ΄ τάξης Δημοτικού. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, με τη χρήση κατάλληλων εργαλείων αξιολόγησης επιχειρήθηκε η καταγραφή των μεταβολών στο γνωστικό επίπεδο και στις απόψεις των μαθητών αναφορικά με τα δικαιώματα του παιδιού πριν και μετά την παρέμβαση, καθώς και η αποτύπωση του βαθμού δέσμευσής τους με τη διδακτική παρέμβαση. Τα αποτελέσματα της διδακτικής παρέμβασης ήταν ιδιαίτερα σημαντικά, κυρίως από άποψη επίτευξης γνωστικών στόχων και διατήρησης της δέσμευσης των μαθητών σε υψηλά επίπεδα. Ωστόσο, και από άποψη μεταβολών στις απόψεις των μαθητών σχετικά με τα δικαιώματα του παιδιού, υπήρχε μία θετική τάση προς περισσότερο κοινωνικά δίκαιες απόψεις στο τέλος της παρέμβασης, γεγονός που κρίνεται σημαντικό αν ληφθεί υπόψη η μικρή χρονική διάρκεια υλοποίησης της παρέμβασης. | el |
| heal.abstract | This thesis focuses on the design and the implementation of a digital game-based teaching intervention for the needs of the Social and Political Education course. In more detail, we investigated the effectiveness of using a specially designed virtual world of the educational video game Minecraft: Education Edition as a learning tool, while teaching the "Children's Rights" section of the primary school textbook for the 6th grade class. More specifically, by using appropriate assessment tools, it was attempted to observe changes in students' cognitive level and views towards the children’s rights before and after intervention, as well as their degree of engagement to teaching intervention. The results of the teaching intervention were particularly important, mainly in terms of achieving cognitive goals and maintaining high levels of students' engagement. However, in terms of change in students' views on the children’s rights, there has been a positive inclination towards more socially justified views at the end of the intervention, something important taking into account the short duration of the intervention. | en |
