The purpose of the this thesis is to quote the basic terms, on which Rousseau addresses the problem of the relationship between law, freedom and equality to the system of political organization that he proposes, République. We also attempt to present and analyze the basics positions of the philosopher about the subject, as expressed in the central point of anthropological and moral-political theory of Rousseau, as well as some fundamental ones knowledge-based proposals. The argument of Rousseau is structured in five proposals, in its four headings and the conclusion, as are summarized below: First, the democratic principle is a synthesis of freedom and equality. Secondly, democracy is the main political system that identifies the individual as a citizen, as a free member of society and institution of equal political rights and obligations and its right self-determination. Thirdly, it follows from the previous proposals that political freedom, is collective political autonomy, derives from the possibility of self-determination citizens. Fourthly, the political subject "People" expresses its political will by adopting a constitution. In conclusion, the principle of popular sovereignty, as fundamental principle of democracy, acts as a regulatory basis for political autonomy the social body and civil self-determination of citizens. According to Rousseau, the fundamental element in the philosophical view of political freedom and equality the right under the law, the "fair agreement", that reflects the expression of general will in exercising political sovereignty and pursues the public interest. It is the instrument that reflects its content of general will and accurately indicates the direction towards which the consolidated voices must direct their political power in order to secure their security of common good.en
