| heal.abstract | Στόχος της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η ανάδειξη πτυχών της φιλοσοφίας του Επίκτητου με έμφαση στις έννοιες της προαίρεσης, της ελευθερίας και της αυτογνωσίας που οδηγούν στην εύροια βίου. Η εργασία αποτελείται από οχτώ κεφάλαια στα οποία αναπτύσσεται η ηθική φιλοσοφία του Στωικού Φιλοσόφου και η σπουδαιότητά της σε πρακτικό επίπεδο, καθώς θεωρεί ότι πρώτιστα η φιλοσοφία είναι τέχνη του βίου. Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο (σσ. 23-34) τίθεται το ιστορικό και φιλοσοφικό πλαίσιο εντός του οποίου διαμορφώνεται η διδασκαλία του Επίκτητου και στο δεύτερο (σσ. 35-54) αναλύονται οι βασικές όψεις της φιλοσοφίας του. Εν συνεχεία στο τρίτο μέρος (σσ. 55-62) παρουσιάζεται η διάκριση των «ἐφ’ ἡμῖν» και «οὐκ ἐφ’ ἡμῖν», στο τέταρτο (σσ. 63-78) η έννοια της προαίρεσης και στο πέμπτο (σσ. 79-96) η θεωρία για τους τρεις τόπους. Στο έκτο κεφάλαιο (σσ. 97-120) θίγεται η θεματική της θεολογίας του Επίκτητου, στο έβδομο (σσ. 121-136) οριοθετούνται οι έννοιες της ελευθερίας και της ευδαιμονίας. Τέλος, στο όγδοο κεφάλαιο (σσ. 137-152) αποτυπώνονται οι κυριότερες επιδράσεις της φιλοσοφίας του σε μεταγενέστερους στοχαστές. | el |
| heal.abstract | The thesis focuses on the aspects of the Epictetus’ philosophy with emphasis on the notions of the volition, freedom and self-awareness that lead on to good life’s flow. The work consists of eight chapters in which are developed the philosophy of the Stoic Philosopher and its importance in practical terms, as he considers that the philosophy is primarily the art of life. The first chapter (pp. 23-34) sets the historical and philosophical context in which the teaching of Epictetus is shaped. The second chapter (pp. 35-54) analyzes the basic aspects of his philosophy. Then, the third part (pp. 55-62) presents the distinction between “ἐφ’ ἡμῖν” and “οὐκ ἐφ’ ἡμῖν”, the fourth (pp.63-78) the notion of volition, and the fifth (pp. 79-96) the theory of the three fields. The sixth chapter (pp. 97-120) covers the subject of the Epictetus’ theology, the seventh (pp. 121-136) defines the notions of freedom and happiness. To sum up, the eighth chapter (pp. 137-152) explores the main influences of his philosophy on subsequent thinkers. | en |
