| heal.abstract | Παρά την σημαντικότητά του, το εκπαιδευτικό έργο των Φορέων Διαχείρισης Προστατευόμενων Περιοχών έχει διερευνηθεί ελάχιστα. Η αναγκαιότητα υλοποίησης εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων τόσο για τους ανθρώπους των τοπικών κοινωνιών όσο και για τις φυσικές προστατευόμενες περιοχές είναι εμφανής από την ανασκόπηση της βιβλιογραφίας. Σκοπός της παρούσας έρευνας είναι η ανάδειξη του βαθμού υλοποίησης προγραμμάτων και δράσεων περιβαλλοντικής εκπαίδευσης, ενημέρωσης και ευαισθητοποίησης από τους ελληνικούς φορείς διαχείρισης, καθώς και της αποτύπωσης των βασικών χαρακτηριστικών αυτών των προγραμμάτων-δράσεων και των δυνατοτήτων τους. Πιο αναλυτικά, οι στόχοι της έρευνας αφορούν: 1) τη διερεύνηση της σχέσης των φορέων με την τοπική κοινωνία, 2) την καταγραφή του προφίλ των ατόμων που σχεδιάζουν και υλοποιούν τα προγράμματα-δράσεις, 3) τον προσδιορισμό των βασικών χαρακτηριστικών των προγραμμάτων-δράσεων, 4) την καταγραφή του εκτιμώμενου αντίκτυπου των προγραμμάτων δράσεων στη τοπική κοινότητα και την προστατευόμενη περιοχή, 5) την καταγραφή των προβλημάτων και δυσκολιών που αντιμετωπίζουν οι φορείς σχετικά με την υλοποίηση των προγραμμάτων-δράσεων, και 6) την καταγραφή των αναγκών αναβάθμισης των εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων και δράσεων. Τα δεδομένα συλλέχθηκαν με ημιδομημένες συνεντεύξεις εις βάθος από εργαζομένους σε 21 φορείς προστατευόμενων περιοχών στην Ελλάδα. Οι συνεντεύξεις αυτές αναλύθηκαν με την μέθοδο της ποιοτικής ανάλυσης περιεχομένου. Τα αποτελέσματα δείχνουν ότι όλοι οι φορείς που συμμετείχαν στην μελέτη υλοποιούν εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα και δράσεις με σημαντικά οφέλη προς τους πολίτες και τις προστατευόμενες περιοχές παρά τα δυσκολίες που αντιμετωπίζουν. | el |
| heal.abstract | Despite its significance, the educational work of the Management Authorities of Natural Protected Areas has been scarcely explored. The need for implementation of educational programs for both citizens of local community and the natural protected areas is evident according to literature review. The purpose of this study is to report to what extent Greek management authorities implement educational programs and actions as well as to highlight the key features and potential of these action programs/ actions. More specifically, the research objectives concern: 1) investigation of the relationship between authorities and the local communities, 2) recording the profile of the individuals who plan and implement educational programs-actions, 3) identification of key features of these programs and actions, 4) reporting the estimated impact of the programs-actions on the local community and the protected area, 5) reporting the problems and difficulties that the authorities have to deal with during the implementation of the programs-actions, and 6) reporting the needs for upgrading educational programs-actions. The data were collected with semi - structured interviews in depth by employees in 21 protected areas in Greece. The interviews were analyzed using the qualitative analysis method. The results show that all the authorities which participated in study implement educational programs and actions with significant benefits to citizens and protected areas despite the difficulties that are faced. | en |
