| heal.abstract | Η «μαζική κοινωνία» όπως έχει χαρακτηριστεί η νέα κοινωνική τάξη πραγμάτων που έχει διαμορφωθεί μετά τη λήξη του Β΄ Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου έχει διαφοροποιήσει τις σχέσεις των πολιτών μεταξύ τους και τις σχέσεις τους με την κοινωνία. Η παγκοσμιοποίηση έχει επιφέρει σημαντικές αλλαγές σε οικονομικό, πολιτικό και πολιτιστικό επίπεδο, στις σχέσεις των πολιτών με την πολιτική και την εξουσία αλλά και την επιβολή της οικονομίας σε όλους τους τομείς. Η μετανάστευση αποτελεί ένα επιπλέον κοινωνικό φαινόμενο με πολλές προεκτάσεις που ταλανίζει τα κράτη σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο ενώ η παρουσία μεταναστών αποτελεί κοινωνικό πρόβλημα καθώς αυτοί γίνονται στόχος προκαταλήψεων και διακρίσεων εναντίον τους. Ειδικότερα, κύριος σκοπός εκπόνησης της παρούσης εργασίας είναι η διερεύνηση της σχέσης των μεταναστών με την πολιτική και ο ρόλος του πολιτικού λόγου στην πολιτική τους κοινωνικοποίηση. Η εργασία αποτελείται από δύο μέρη: το θεωρητικό και το εμπειρικό. Στο θεωρητικό μέρος γίνεται, αρχικά, περιγραφή του προβλήματος και παρουσιάζονται οι έννοιες της κοινωνικοποίησης και της πολυπολιτισμικότητας ενώ επιχειρείται και μία εκτενέστερη αναφορά στο φαινόμενο της μετανάστευσης. Στη συνέχεια, εξετάζεται ο πολιτικός λόγος και η διάδοσή του μέσω των ΜΜΕ. Στο εμπειρικό μέρος γίνεται αναφορά στη μεθοδολογία της έρευνας, στα ευρήματα που προέκυψαν από αυτή και στα συμπεράσματα που μπορούν να εξαχθούν. Από τη μελέτη της βιβλιογραφίας και από την ανάλυση των δεδομένων της έρευνας καταλήξαμε στο συμπέρασμα ότι οι νέοι μετανάστες αποστασιοποιούνται από τα πολιτικά πράγματα και υιοθετούν μια απαξιωτική στάση απέναντι στην πολιτική. Τηρούν μια απόσταση ασφαλείας από την πολιτική και τους φορείς της λόγω ανασφάλειας αλλά και λόγω της πεποίθησης ότι πολιτικοί και κόμματα είναι ανίκανοι να ανταποκριθούν στα κοινωνικά προβλήματα. | el |
| heal.abstract | “Mass society” is the new social order that emerged after the end of World War II. It has altered the relations of citizens between themselves and within the society itself. Further, globalisation has resulted in plenty of changes at the economic/financial, political and cultural level as well as the relations of citizens with politics and government, and the predominance of economics in every field. Migration is another social phenomenon with enormous ramifications, afflicting states internationally. The presence of immigrants within a country is a troublesome social phenomenon in most cases, as they often fall victims of prejudice and discrimination. The goal of this study is to explore the relation of immigrants to politics and the role of political discourse in their political socialisation. This study comprises two sections: a theoretical and an empirical one. The theoretical section outlines the notions of socialisation and multiculturalism, also describing migration as a whole. Next, political discourse and its dissemination through the media is examined, too. In the empirical section of this study, outlined are the methodology of the survey, its findings and the conclusions to be drawn. Upon studying related literature and analysing the findings of the survey, one is led to believe that new immigrants are distanced from, and have adopted a disdainful stance towards, politics. They tend to steer clear of politics because of insecurity, but also as they are convinced that politicians and political parties are incapable of providing solutions to social problems. | en |
