| heal.abstract | Με τον όρο εταιρική κοινωνική ευθύνη νοείται η προσπάθεια των επιχειρήσεων να ενσωματώσουν τις κοινωνικές και περιβαλλοντικές τους ανησυχίες στις δραστηριότητες και στις επαφές τους με τα ενδιαφερόμενα μέρη (stakeholders). Το να είναι μία εταιρεία κοινωνικά υπεύθυνη δεν σημαίνει μόνο ότι πρέπει να εκπληρώνει τις υποχρεώσεις που τις επιβάλλονται από τον νόμο, αλλά και να λειτουργεί με ηθικές αρχές επενδύοντας πολλά στον άνθρωπο, στον εργαζόμενο, στο περιβάλλον αλλά και στη κοινωνία γενικότερα. H έννοια της Εταιρικής Κοινωνικής Ευθύνης κερδίζει διαρκώς έδαφος σε εγχώριο και διεθνές επίπεδο, τα τελευταία χρόνια, και αποτελεί μέρος της Εταιρικής Στρατηγικής σε συνεχώς αυξανόμενο ποσοστό επιχειρήσεων. Διαδραματίζει κεφαλαιώδη ρόλο στην οικοδόμηση σχέσεων εμπιστοσύνης μεταξύ του κοινωνικού συνόλου και του επιχειρηματικού συνόλου. Ωστόσο, ιδιαίτερα στην Ελλάδα, ασφαλώς υπάρχουν ακόμη σημαντικά περιθώρια βελτίωσης για την περαιτέρω διείσδυση των αρχών ΕΚΕ, σε αξιόλογο ποσοστό εταιρειών και σε μεγαλύτερο φάσμα δραστηριοτήτων. Σκοπό της παρούσας πτυχιακής είναι η εννοιολογική και ιστορική διερεύνηση της εταιρικής κοινωνικής ευθύνης, αλλά και να παρουσιάσει με συνοπτικό τρόπο την προσέγγιση της ΔΕΗ στο θέμα της Εταιρικής και Κοινωνικής Ευθύνης. | el |
| heal.abstract | The term “Corporate Social Responsibility” means the effort of companies to integrate their social and environmental concerns into their activities and into their contacts with the interested parties (stakeholders). A company being socially responsible does not just mean that it has to fulfill its obligations imposed by the law, but also to function with ethical principles by investing in human, in worker, in environment, and in society in general. The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility is constantly gaining ground both domestically and internationally in recent years and it is part of the Corporate Strategy in an ever-increasing percentage of companies. It plays a fundamental role in building trust relationships between the society as a whole and the business community. However, especially in Greece, there is still, of course, considerable room for improvement in the further penetration of CSR principles, in a significant proportion of companies and a wider range of activities. The purpose of this dissertation is the conceptual and historical investigation of corporate social responsibility and it aims also to briefly present PPC (Public Power Corporation) approach to Corporate and Social Responsibility. | en |
