| heal.abstract | Το θέμα της παρούσης πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι οι εναλλακτικές μορφές τουρισμού και ο θρησκευτικός τουρισμός στην Πάτμο. Σκοπός της παρούσης είναι η μελέτη των χαρακτηριστικών των εναλλακτικών μορφών τουρισμού, η ανάλυση της έννοιας, των χαρακτηριστικών και των αιτίων ανάπτυξης του θρησκευτικού τουρισμού γενικότερα και η έρευνα του θρησκευτικού τουρισμού στο νησί της Πάτμου. Για την πραγματοποίηση αυτού του σκοπού, πραγματοποιήθηκε μια ποσοτική έρευνα ανάμεσα σε 100 τουρίστες και σε 100 μόνιμους κατοίκους του νησιού ώστε να διαπιστωθεί η επίδραση που έχει ο θρησκευτικός τουρισμός στην ανάπτυξη του νησιού και ο βαθμός ικανοποίησης τόσο των τουριστών όσο και των μόνιμων κατοίκων από αυτόν. Διαπιστώθηκε ότι ο θρησκευτικός τουρισμός έχει συμβάλλει θετικά στην ανάπτυξη της Πάτμου καθώς ενισχύει το οικονομικό τους εισόδημα αλλά αυτό δεν είναι ικανό να προσελκύσει νέους κατοίκους στο νησί ή να διατηρήσει τους ήδη υπάρχοντες. Ωστόσο, παρατηρήθηκε ότι υπάρχει δυνατότητα για ενασχόληση με τις εναλλακτικές μορφές τουρισμού στην Πάτμο. | el |
| heal.abstract | The subject of this dissertation is the alternative forms of tourism and religious tourism in Patmos. The aim is to study the characteristics of alternative forms of tourism, the analysis of the concept, characteristics and causes of the development of religious tourism in general and the research of religious tourism on the island of Patmos. To achieve this goal, a quantitative survey was conducted among 100 tourists and 100 permanent residents of the island to determine the impact that religious tourism has on the development of the island and the degree of satisfaction of both tourists and permanent residents. It has been found that religious tourism has contributed positively to the development of Patmos as it boosts their economic income but this is not able to attract new residents to the island or keep the existing ones. However, it was found that there is a future in dealing with alternative forms of tourism in Patmos. | en |
