heal.abstractThe subject of this MSc thesis is the development and construction of a VMEbus sequencer card for the control of a Premux FE chip board. The Premux chip is used in Si microstrip detectors to amplify, shape and multiplex the strip signals. The sequencer provides the appropriate control signal to the PreMux board for sampling, multiplexing its inputs and digitizes them in order to be available through the VMEbus for further processing. The Sequencer card has two modes of operation: The Read Out and the Calibration mode.en
