| heal.abstract | Ο αφηγηματικός λόγος αποτελεί μία σύνθετη γλωσσική δεξιότητα, η οποία περιλαμβάνει την οργάνωση και τη σύνδεση γεγονότων σε μία συνεκτική και ολοκληρωμένη αφήγηση. Η ανάπτυξή του κατά την προσχολική ηλικία συνδέεται με την εξέλιξη επιμέρους γλωσσικών και γνωστικών δεξιοτήτων, ενώ παράλληλα επηρεάζεται από το γλωσσικό και κοινωνικό περιβάλλον στο οποίο μεγαλώνει το παιδί. Το κοινωνικοοικονομικό υπόβαθρο της οικογένειας αποτελεί έναν σημαντικό περιβαλλοντικό παράγοντα, καθώς σχετίζεται με τις διαθέσιμες ευκαιρίες γλωσσικής αλληλεπίδρασης και τα ερεθίσματα που δέχεται το παιδί. Η παρούσα εργασία εστιάζει στη διερεύνηση της σχέσης μεταξύ του κοινωνικοοικονομικού υποβάθρου και της αφηγηματικής ικανότητας μονόγλωσσων παιδιών προσχολικής ηλικίας στην Ελλάδα, εξετάζοντας τόσο τη μακροδομή όσο και τη μικροδομή του αφηγηματικού λόγου. Παράλληλα, διερευνάται η συμβολή επιμέρους γλωσσικών και γνωστικών δεξιοτήτων, όπως η μορφοσυντακτική επάρκεια, το εκφραστικό λεξιλόγιο και η εργαζόμενη μνήμη, στην ανάπτυξη της αφηγηματικής ικανότητας. Η μελέτη επιδιώκει να συμβάλλει στην πληρέστερη κατανόηση των παραγόντων που σχετίζονται με την ανάπτυξη της αφηγηματικής ικανότητας κατά την προσχολική ηλικία και να αναδείξει τη σημασία της συνεκτίμησης γλωσσικών, γνωστικών και περιβαλλοντικών παραμέτρων κατά την αξιολόγηση του παιδικού αφηγηματικού λόγου. | el |
| heal.abstract | Narrative discourse is a complex linguistic skill, that involves the organization and connection of events into a coherent and complete narrative. Its development during the preschool years is associated with the development of specific linguistic and cognitive skills, while it is also influenced by the linguistic and social environment in which the child grows up. The socioeconomic background of the family constitutes an important environmental factor, as it is related to the available opportunities for linguistic interaction and the stimuli to which the child is exposed. The present study focuses on investigating the relationship between socioeconomic status and the narrative ability of monolingual preschool-aged children in Greece, examining both the macrostructure and microstructure of native language. At the same time, the contribution of specific linguistic and cognitive skills, such as morphosyntactic competence, expressive vocabulary and working memory, to the development of narrative ability is investigated. The study aims to contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the factors associated with the development of narrative ability during the preschool years and to highlight the importance of considering linguistic, cognitive and environmental factors when assessing children’s narrative language. | en |
