| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία εξετάζει τον ρόλο του ηλεκτρονικού επιχειρείν και των ψηφιακών πλατφορμών στη διαμόρφωση της σύγχρονης οικονομίας. Στο πρώτο μέρος, πραγματοποιείται βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση σχετικά με την εξέλιξη του ηλεκτρονικού εμπορίου, τα επιχειρηματικά μοντέλα των ψηφιακών πλατφορμών και τις επιπτώσεις τους στις αγορές. Κεντρικό σημείο της μελέτης αποτελεί η περίπτωση του Skroutz.gr, της σημαντικότερης πλατφόρμας σύγκρισης τιμών και ηλεκτρονικών αγορών στην Ελλάδα. Μέσω της ανάλυσης του επιχειρηματικού του μοντέλου, εξετάζεται ο τρόπος με τον οποίο η πλατφόρμα γεφυρώνει το χάσμα μεταξύ καταναλωτών και εμπόρων, ενισχύοντας τον ανταγωνισμό και τη διαφάνεια στην αγορά. Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας υπογραμμίζουν ότι οι ψηφιακές πλατφόρμες δεν λειτουργούν απλώς ως διαμεσολαβητές, αλλά ως καταλύτες ψηφιακού μετασχηματισμού για τις μικρομεσαίες επιχειρήσεις. Η εργασία καταλήγει στο συμπέρασμα ότι η επιτυχία του Skroutz οφείλεται στην επένδυση στην εμπιστοσύνη του καταναλωτή και στη διαρκή αναβάθμιση των τεχνολογικών υπηρεσιών του. Προτείνονται τέλος κατευθύνσεις για τη μελλοντική προσαρμογή των ελληνικών επιχειρήσεων στο συνεχώς μεταβαλλόμενο ψηφιακό περιβάλλον. | el |
| heal.abstract | This thesis examines the role of e-business and digital platforms in shaping the modern economy. In the first part, a literature review is conducted regarding the evolution of e-commerce, the business models of digital platforms, and their impact on markets. A central focus of this study is the case of Skroutz.gr, the leading price comparison and e-commerce marketplace in Greece. Through an analysis of its business model, the study explores how the platform bridges the gap between consumers and merchants, fostering competition and market transparency. Research findings underscore that digital platforms do not merely act as intermediaries, but as catalysts for digital transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises. The thesis concludes that Skroutz's success is attributed to its investment in consumer trust and the continuous upgrading of its technological services.
