| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία, με τίτλο «περιέκτης», αφορά μια αρχιτεκτονική πρόταση για τον επανασχεδιασμό της αποθήκης και του κοτετσιού στην αυλή της κατοικίας της γιαγιάς και του παππού μου. Μέσα από επιτόπια καταγραφή, πρωτότυπο φωτογραφικό υλικό, σχέδια, σκίτσα, μακέτες, prototypes και υλικότητες, η εργασία συνιστά ένα πείραμα σχεδιαστικής σκέψης και πράξης γύρω από το πώς τα δεδομένα στοιχεία της καθημερινής, οικείας και προσωπικής πραγματικότητας μπορούν, τελικά, να επαναπροσδιοριστούν. Στο πλαίσιο της εργασίας, ο επαναπροσδιορισμός αυτός δεν αποσκοπεί απαραίτητα σε μια εκσυγχρονισμένη εκδοχή του τώρα. Το κεντρικό ερώτημα που τίθεται σε αυτή την προσπάθεια είναι: πώς η παρούσα συνθήκη θα μπορούσε να είναι διαφορετική, παραμένοντας, με κάποιον τρόπο, συνεπής στο σήμερα; Πέρα από τον κατασκευαστικό και σχεδιαστικό της χαρακτήρα, η εργασία προσεγγίζει το συγκεκριμένο θέμα μέσα από την έννοια του «περιέκτη» ― μία έννοια η οποία αντλείται από την ερευνητική μου εργασία και έρχεται για να μας μιλήσει για το ίδιο το αυγό, το κοτέτσι και την αποθήκη, αλλά και για τον κήπο, την αυλή και την κατοικία. | el |
| heal.abstract | This diploma thesis, titled “vessel”, presents an architectural proposal for the redesign of the shed and chicken coop at my grandparents' residence. Through on-site documentation, original photos, drawings, sketches, models, prototypes, and materialities, this thesis constitutes an experiment in design thinking and practice. It explores how the given elements of everyday, familiar, and personal reality can be redefined. This redefinition does not necessarily aim for an up-to-date version of the present. The central question raised in this effort is: how could the current condition be different while remaining, in some way, consistent with the present? Beyond its craft and design character, the project approaches the subject matter through the notion of the "vessel"— a concept drawn from my research thesis, which comes to speak of the egg itself, the chicken coop, and the shed, as well as the garden, the yard, and the house. | en |
