| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία εξετάζει το σώμα της γυναίκας στον καρκίνο υπό το πρίσμα των βιοϊατρικών μεταβολών και των συστημικών αναπαραστάσεων. Μέσα από διεπιστημονική βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση, διερευνώνται τόσο οι σωματικές αλλαγές που επιφέρει η νόσος όσο και οι ψυχοκοινωνικές και οικογενειακές επιπτώσεις που την πλαισιώνουν. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δίνεται στις γυναικολογικές μορφές καρκίνου και στον καρκίνο του μαστού, καθώς πρόκειται για παθήσεις που σχετίζονται άμεσα με τη θηλυκότητα, τη μητρότητα και την ταυτότητα του φύλου. Η εργασία αναλύει τη διπλή διάσταση του σώματος ως βιολογικού και βιωματικού φορέα, εστιάζοντας σε έννοιες όπως η ενσώματη εμπειρία (embodiment), η εικόνα σώματος, ο πόνος, η απώλεια και η ανθεκτικότητα. Συνδυάζοντας τη φεμινιστική θεωρία, τη φαινομενολογία του σώματος και τη συστημική θεραπευτική προσέγγιση, φωτίζονται τα πολλαπλά νοήματα που προσδίδονται στην εμπειρία της ασθένειας. Στο δεύτερο μέρος, διερευνάται πώς η ασθένεια επηρεάζει τις οικογενειακές σχέσεις και τις διαγενεακές αφηγήσεις, ενώ εξετάζονται οι θεραπευτικές διαστάσεις του καρκίνου, δίνοντας έμφαση στην ψυχοθεραπευτική σχέση, στις συστημικές παρεμβάσεις και στην αφήγηση ως εργαλείο νοηματοδότησης. Το σώμα παρουσιάζεται όχι μόνο ως τόπος πόνου και τραύματος, αλλά και ως πεδίο μετασχηματισμού, προσωπικής ενδυνάμωσης και θεραπευτικής ανασυγκρότησης. Η μελέτη φιλοδοξεί να συμβάλει στην ευρύτερη κατανόηση του καρκίνου ως βιοψυχοκοινωνικού φαινομένου, υπογραμμίζοντας την ανάγκη για μια ολοκληρωμένη προσέγγιση που να αναγνωρίζει τη γυναίκα όχι μόνο ως ασθενή, αλλά ως ολότητα που βιώνει, πονά, αντιστέκεται και αναδομεί την ταυτότητά της. | el |
| heal.abstract | This thesis explores the female body in cancer through the lens of biomedical transformations and systemic representations. Through an interdisciplinary literature review, it investigates both the physical changes brought by the disease and the psychosocial and family dynamics that accompany it. Special emphasis is placed on gynecological cancers and breast cancer, as these conditions are intimately tied to femininity, motherhood, and gender identity. The study analyzes the dual nature of the body as both biological and experiential, focusing on concepts such as embodiment, body image, pain, loss, and resilience. By integrating feminist theory, the phenomenology of the body, and systemic therapeutic approaches, the thesis highlights the multiple meanings attributed to the illness experience. The second part examines how cancer affects family relationships and intergenerational narratives, exploring the therapeutic dimensions of the disease. Special attention is given to the psychotherapeutic alliance, systemic interventions, and narrative as a tool of meaning-making. The body is portrayed not only as a site of suffering and trauma but also as a field of transformation, empowerment, and therapeutic reconstruction. This study aims to contribute to the broader understanding of cancer as a biopsychosocial phenomenon, emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach that recognizes the woman not only as a patient but as a whole person who experiences, resists, and redefines her identity through illness. | en |
