| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία εξετάζει ερασιτέχνες λαογράφους της Δυτικής Μακεδονίας και τη σχέση τους με την επιστήμη της Λαογραφίας. Η μελέτη κινείται σε δύο άξονες. Αρχικά, επιχειρείται η καταγραφή και μια πρώτη χαρτογράφηση προσώπων που έχουν ασχοληθεί συστηματικά με τη συλλογή, καταγραφή και δημοσίευση λαογραφικού υλικού στην περιοχή, με αναφορά στην εντοπιότητά τους και τις θεματικές ενασχόλησής τους. Πρέπει να σημειωθεί ότι η αναφορά στα πρόσωπα αυτά δεν είναι εξαντλητική, αλλά εστιάζει σε περιπτώσεις που αποτυπώνουν ανάγλυφα την τοπική ερευνητική δραστηριότητα. Σε δεύτερο επίπεδο, η έρευνα εμβαθύνει μέσω επτά (7) μελετών περίπτωσης ατόμων από τρεις διαφορετικές γενιές προκειμένου να διερευνηθεί το προφίλ τους σε βάθος. Η έρευνα ακολουθεί ποιοτική προσέγγιση και συνδυάζει διαχρονική και συγχρονική οπτική. Η διαχρονική διάσταση αφορά στη μελέτη του έργου παλαιότερων ερασιτεχνών λαογράφων της περιοχής μέσω βιβλιογραφικής και αρχειακής ανασκόπησης. Η συγχρονική διάσταση βασίζεται κυρίως στη λήψη συνεντεύξεων από ερασιτέχνες λαογράφους του Νομού Κοζάνης, με σκοπό να διερευνηθούν οι θεματικές που προσεγγίζουν, τα κίνητρα ενασχόλησής τους με τη Λαογραφία, τον τρόπο εργασίας τους, καθώς και την αυτοαντίληψή τους σε σχέση με τη λαογραφική επιστήμη. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δίνεται στη στάση τους απέναντι στον όρο «λαογράφος», εξετάζοντας αν τον αποδέχονται, αν τον περιορίζουν με τον προσδιορισμό «ερασιτέχνης» ή αν τον απορρίπτουν εξ’ ολοκλήρου, θεωρώντας την ακαδημαϊκή εξειδίκευση απαραίτητη προϋπόθεση για τη χρήση του τίτλου. Οι συνεντεύξεις οργανώθηκαν γύρω από κοινούς θεματικούς άξονες, επιτρέποντας τη συγκριτική αποτύπωση τάσεων χωρίς πρόθεση γενίκευσης. Τα ευρήματα αναδεικνύουν ότι οι ερασιτέχνες λαογράφοι δεν συγκροτούν μια ομοιογενή ομάδα, αλλά παρουσιάζουν διαφοροποιήσεις ως προς τα κίνητρα, τη σχέση τους με την επιστημονική γνώση και τον τρόπο προσέγγισης της λαογραφικής πρακτικής. Κοινός παρονομαστής αποτελεί η ισχυρή σύνδεση με τον τόπο και η επιθυμία διάσωσης της τοπικής μνήμης και του λαϊκού πολιτισμού. Συμπερασματικά, η εργασία συμβάλλει στην κατανόηση της ερασιτεχνικής λαογραφίας ως ενός ενδιάμεσου πεδίου ανάμεσα στη βιωματική γνώση και την ακαδημαϊκή Λαογραφία. | el |
| heal.abstract | The present master’s thesis examines amateur folklorists in Western Macedonia and their relationship with the science of Folklore. The study is structured around two main axes. Initially, it attempts to record and provide a preliminary mapping of individuals who have been systematically involved in the collection, documentation, and publication of folklore material in the region, referring to their locality and thematic areas of interest. It should be noted that this record is not exhaustive; instead, it focuses on cases that vividly illustrate local research activity. At a second level, the research delves deeper through six (6) case studies of individuals from three different generations, in order to investigate their profiles in depth. The research follows a qualitative approach, combining diachronic and synchronic perspectives. The diachronic dimension involves the study of the work of earlier amateur folklorists in the region through bibliographic and archival review. The synchronic dimension is primarily based on interviews conducted with six amateur folklorists from the Prefecture of Kozani, aiming to explore their thematic focuses, their motivations for engaging with Folklore, their working methods, as well as their self-perception in relation to the academic discipline of Folklore. Particular emphasis is placed on their stance towards the term "folklorist," examining whether they accept it, limit it with the qualifier "amateur," or reject it entirely, considering academic specialization a necessary prerequisite for the use of the title. The interviews were semi-structured and organized around common thematic axes, allowing for a comparative depiction of trends without the intention of generalization. The findings highlight that amateur folklorists do not constitute a homogeneous group but present variations in their motivations, their relationship with scientific knowledge, and their approach to folklore practice. A common denominator is the strong connection to their place of origin and the desire to preserve local memory and folk culture.
