| heal.abstract | Η εργασία στόχο έχει να εξετάσει την έννοια της κοινωνικής δικαιοσύνης στην εποχή των πολιτισμικών πολέμων (cultural wars). Αξιοποιώντας τη σκέψη του J. Habermas και άλλων σύγχρονων στοχαστών όπως των D. Harvey, F. Jameson, Τ. Eagleton, στο πρώτο μέρος θα αναλυθεί η πολυεπίπεδη μετάβαση από την νεωτερικότητα στην μετανεωτερικότητα η οποία έχει επηρεάσει τη θεώρηση του δικαίου και των κοινωνικών αξιών. Οι πολιτισμικοί πόλεμοι, απότοκο αυτής της μετάβασης, αναδεικνύονται ως βασικό πεδίο σύγκρουσης που επηρεάζουν την ερμηνεία της κοινωνικής δικαιοσύνης στη δημόσια σφαίρα. Μια σειρά παραδειγμάτων πολιτισμικών συγκρούσεων όπως η πολιτική ορθότητα (political correctness) η λογική της ακύρωσης (cancel culture) και το ζήτημα του ιατρικώς υποβοηθούμενου τερματισμού της ζωής θα συζητηθούν με σκοπό να αναδειχθεί η πορεία αναδιαμόρφωσης της έννοιας του δικαίου. Η εργασία ολοκληρώνεται με μια κριτική αξιολόγηση του ρόλου της κοινωνικής δικαιοσύνης στη σύγχρονη δημόσια σφαίρα, εστιάζοντας στη σύνθετη σχέση ανάμεσα στα πολιτισμικά δικαιώματα και τα συλλογικά ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα. Αναδεικνύεται η ανάγκη για μια κοινωνική δικαιοσύνη που δεν περιορίζεται στη διαχείριση των συγκρούσεων, αλλά λειτουργεί ως καταλύτης συνοχής και εναρμόνισης της πολιτισμικής πολυμορφίας με την προστασία των θεμελιωδών δικαιωμάτων σε μια πλουραλιστική σύγχρονη κοινωνία. | el |
| heal.abstract | This thesis investigates the concept of social justice in the current period, known as ‘‘cultural wars’’. Building on the thought of J. Habermas, in dialogue with theorists such as D. Harvey, F. Jameson and T. Eagleton, I will examine the transition from modernity to postmodernity and the consequences of this shift for the understanding of law and social values. Cultural wars, as a by-product of this transition, emerge as a crucial field of conflict within the public sphere, shaping the perception of social justice. Specific cases are analyzed, such as political correctness, cancel culture and the issue of medically assisted dying, so as to highlight the ongoing transformation of justice. I will conclude with a critical assessment of the role of social justice in the contemporary public sphere, emphasizing the need for justice not only as a mechanism for managing conflicts but also as a catalyst for cohesion and for harmonizing cultural diversity with the protection of fundamental rights in a pluralistic society. | en |
