| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία εξετάζει την κατοικία στο Ζαγόρι όχι ως απλό χώρο διαμονής, αλλά ως ένα δυναμικό πεδίο κοινωνικής δήλωσης και πολιτισμικής μνήμης. Μέσω της φαινομενολογικής προσέγγισης, το «κατοικείν» αναδεικνύεται σε μια ενεργή πράξη αυτοπροσδιορισμού, όπου ο αρχιτεκτονικός χώρος και ο διάκοσμος κρυσταλλώνουν τις βιωματικές εμπειρίες και τις αξίες των ενοίκων. Κεντρικό άξονα της μελέτης αποτελεί η σημειολογική διαβάθμιση των τοιχογραφιών, η οποία ρυθμίζει την επικοινωνία μεταξύ ιδιοκτήτη και θεατή. Εξωτερικά, οι προσόψεις λειτουργούν ως «δημόσιο πρόσωπο» και δηλώνουν την οικονομική ισχύ των ιδιοκτητών και την ένταξη τους στην κοινότητα. Εσωτερικά, ο κώδικας γίνεται αφηγηματικός και λειτουργεί ως οπτικό αρχείο της κοσμοπολίτικης εμπειρίας των εμπόρων της διασποράς, νομιμοποιώντας το κοινωνικό τους κύρος μέσω της γνώσης του κόσμου. Οι λαϊκοί Χιονιαδίτες ζωγράφοι, μεταφέροντας την τεχνική πειθαρχία της αγιογραφίας στον κοσμικό χώρο, προσέδωσαν στην κατοικία μια διάσταση «ιερότητας» και διαχρονικότητας. Συμπερασματικά, οι τοιχογραφίες του Ζαγορίου αποτελούν το σημείο συνάντησης της υλικής και άυλης κληρονομιάς. Μετατρέπουν το αρχοντικό σε ένα «μνημονικό σύστημα» που γεφυρώνει το τοπικό βίωμα, με την υπερτοπική πραγματικότητα της διασποράς, διασφαλίζοντας τη συνέχεια της συλλογικής ταυτότητας μέσα από την τέχνη. | el |
| heal.abstract | The present study examines the Zagori dwelling not merely as a living space, but as a dynamic field of social assertion and cultural memory. Through a phenomenological lens, 'dwelling' is highlighted as an active act of self-identification, where architectural space and ornamentation crystallize the lived experiences and values of the inhabitants. A central pillar of this research is the semiotic gradation of the wall paintings, which moderates the interaction between the owner and the observer. Externally, the facades serve as a 'public persona,' manifesting the owners' economic standing and their integration into the community. Internally, the semiotic code becomes narrative, functioning as a visual archive of the diaspora merchants' cosmopolitan experiences and legitimizing their social prestige through their worldly knowledge. The folk painters from Chioniades, by transposing the technical rigor of hagiography into the secular sphere, imbued the residence with a sense of 'sacredness' and timelessness. In conclusion, the murals of Zagori constitute the intersection of tangible and intangible heritage. They transform the manor into a 'mnemonic system' that bridges local lived experience with the translocal reality of the diaspora, ensuring the continuity of collective identity through the medium of art. | en |
