heal.abstractΠαρατηρούμε τον κόσμο γύρω μας πλασμένο και διαρ κώς αναπαραγόμενο προς όφελος της εξουσίας, και εν προκειμένω του καπιταλιστικού συστήματος. Κάθε σπιθαμή γης είναι πλέον πιθανό πεδίο επένδυσης· περι φράσσεται, κατακερματίζεται, καταπατάται, γίνεται αντικείμενο εκμετάλλευσης. Κι αν αυτή είναι η παγιω μένη πραγματικότητα, για μας ήρθε η στιγμή να ανα τραπεί. Να καταρρεύσει. Κι αφού δε θέλουμε η πραγματικότητα να είναι αυτή, προκύπτει το ερώτημα «πώς θα ήταν τα πράγματα αλλιώς;». Η παρούσα εργασία, ευελπιστώντας να δώσει απάντη ση, στηρίζεται στη θεωρία των «κοινών χώρων» και την ανάλυση της περίφραξης άυλων και υλικών πόρων. Αντλεί έμπνευση από παραδοσιακές πρακτικές δόμησης, μέχρι σύγχρονες απόπειρες απελευθέρωσης του χώρου και της παραγωγής του. Επιδιώκει την πραγμάτωση και την καταγραφή μίας συλλογικής διαδικασίας αυτοδό μησης αξιοποιώντας φυσικά υλικά και τεχνικές φυσικής δόμησης. Ακολουθεί μια ομάδα ανθρώπων η οποία συνεργάζε ται. Συνδιαμορφώνει ως προς μία κοινή ιδέα. Αυτό μορφώνεται σε τεχνικές φυσικής δόμησης. Σχεδιάζει συνεργατικά και τελικά αυτό-δομεί μία κοινόχρηστη κατασκευή. Η κατασκευή παίρνει τη χρήση της από τις ανάγκες και τις επιθυμίες της ομάδας. Τα δομικά υλικά της από το άμεσο περιβάλλον της. Τη μορφή από τη συνολική δια θέσιμη γνώση, εμπειρία και εφευρετικότητα των συμ μετεχόντων. Η αφήγηση του εγχειρήματος είναι ένα «κολλάζ» των υλικών και εργαλείων που συλλέξαμε, των γνώσεων που μοιραστήκαμε, των ανθρώπων που χτίσαμε παρέα, αλλά και όσων συνεισφέρανε κατά τη διαδικασία. Από την πρώτη χούφτα χώματος που ξεθάψαμε, μέχρι την τελευταία στοιβαχτού πηλού που πλάσαμε. Μέσα από αυτό το ταξίδι η πιο ειλικρινής απάντηση που θα μπορούσαμε να δώσουμε στο αρχικό μας ερώτημα είναι: «συλλογικά». Γι’ αυτό, συντάσσουμε ένα οικοδομικό εγχειρίδιο που μοιράζει τη γνώση που συλλέξαμε ευελπιστώντας να αναπαραχθεί. Έναν Oδηγό Aρχιτεκτονικής για το Τέλος του Κόσμου.el
heal.abstractWe observe the world around us being shaped and constantly reproduced for the benefit of those in power, and in this case, the capitalist system. Every inch of land is now a potential investment opportunity; it is enclosured, fragmented, trampled upon, and exploited. If this is the established reality, then the time has come for us to overturn it. To bring it down. Since we do not want this to be the reality, the question arises: «How would things be otherwise?». This paper, hoping to provide an answer, is based on the theory of «common spaces» and the analysis of the enclosure of intangible and material resources. It draws inspiration from traditional building practices to contemporary attempts to liberate space and its production. It seeks to realize and document a collective process of self-building using natural materials and natural building techniques. It follows a group of people who work together. They co-create a common idea. They self-educate in natural building techniques. They collaboratively design and ultimately self-build a communal structure. The structure’s use is defined by the needs and desires of the group. Its building materials come from the immediate environment. Its form comes from the collective knowledge, experience, and creativity of the participants. The narrative of the project is a collage of the materials and tools we collected, the knowledge we shared, the people we built with, and those who contributed to the process. From the first handful of soil we dug up to the last pile of clay we molded. Through this journey, the most honest answer we could give to our initial question is «collectively». That is why we are putting together a construction manual that shares the knowledge we have gathered, hoping that it will be reproduced. An Architectural Guide for the End of the World.en
