heal.abstractΗ παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία εξετάζει τη χρησιμότητα του ανιχνευτικού εργαλείου PEDI-EAT-10 στην διαγνωστική προσέγγιση της δυσφαγίας σε παιδιά με Εγκεφαλική Παράλυση. Το γενικό μέρος της εργασίας περιλαμβάνει θεωρητική ανασκόπηση σχετικά με την Εγκεφαλική Παράλυση, παρουσιάζοντας τον ορισμό, την επιδημιολογία και τα κυριότερα αίτια. Αναλύεται η ταξινόμηση της πάθησης με βάση τη φυσιολογία, την παθολογία, την τοπογραφία και τις λειτουργικές κινητικές ικανότητες, καθώς και η κλινική εικόνα των διαφορετικών μορφών. Στη συνέχεια, αναφέρονται τα βασικότερα συνοδά προβλήματα που συναντώνται και παρουσιάζονται θεραπευτικές . Το γενικό μέρος ολοκληρώνεται με την παρουσίαση των ανιχνευτικών εργαλείων για τη δυσφαγία, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στο PEDI-EAT 10. Το ειδικό μέρος επικεντρώνεται στη στατιστική ανάλυση των δεδομένων που συλλέχθηκαν μέσω της εφαρμογής του ερωτηματολογίου PEDI-EAT 10 σε δείγμα παιδιών με Εγκεφαλική Παράλυση. Παρουσιάζονται τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας και η συζήτηση των ευρημάτων σε σχέση με τη βιβλιογραφία. Τέλος, παρατίθενται τα συμπεράσματα της μελέτης.el
heal.abstractThe present thesis examines the usefulness of the screening tool PEDI-EAT-10 in the diagnostic approach of Dysphagia in children with Cerebral Palsy (CP). The general part of the thesis includes a theoretical review of Cerebral Palsy, presenting its definition, epidemiology, and main causes. The classification of the condition is analyzed based on physiology, pathology, topography, and functional motor abilities, as well as the clinical presentation of its different forms. Subsequently, the most common comorbidities are discussed, and therapeutic interventions are presented. The general part concludes with the presentation of screening tools for dysphagia, with particular emphasis on the PEDI-EAT-10. The special part focuses on the statistical analysis of the data collected through the administration of the PEDI-EAT-10 questionnaire to a sample of children with Cerebral Palsy. The research results and the discussion of the findings in relation to the existing literature are presented. Finally, the conclusions of the study are provided.en
