| heal.generalDescription | Εισαγωγή: Το Σύνδρομο Επαγγελματικής Εξουθένωσης περιγράφει μια αγχώδη κατάσταση που σχετίζεται με την εργασία και έχει ως αποτέλεσμα τη συναισθηματική εξάντληση, την αποπροσωποποίηση και τη μειωμένη προσωπική επιτυχία των εργαζομένων. Το σύνδρομο εμφανίζεται σε όλους τους εργαζομένους καθώς και στους επαγγελματίες υγείας και μπορεί να επιβαρύνει την υγεία τους. Σκοπός: Πρωταρχικός σκοπός της παρούσας ερευνητικής μελέτης ήταν η διερεύνηση της επαγγελματικής εξουθένωσης σε νοσηλευτές που εργάζονται σε ψυχιατρικά τμήματα και σε άλλα κλειστά νοσηλευτικά τμήματα ενός Πανεπιστημιακού νοσοκομείου. Μεθοδολογία: Η έρευνα διενεργήθηκε αξιοποιώντας την ποσοτική μεθοδολογία και με την χρήση των ερωτηματολογίων :SF-36 Health Survey Questionnaire, Cardiac Anxiety Questionnaire-CAQ και το Maslach Burnourt Inventory-MBI, προκειμένου να συλλεχθούν δεδομένα από το νοσηλευτικό προσωπικό. Η στατιστική ανάλυση έγινε με το λογισμικό IBM-SPSS statistics έκδοση 22. Αποτελέσματα: Η μελέτη περιέλαβε 57 νοσηλευτές, 32 σε διάφορα νοσηλευτικά τμήματα και 25 σε ψυχιατρικά τμήματα. Η ανάλυση των δεδομένων ανέδειξε ότι οι νοσηλευτές που εργάζονται σε ψυχιατρικά τμήματα πάσχουν περισσότερο από σύνδρομο επαγγελματικής εξουθένωσης σε σύγκριση με τους νοσηλευτές που εργάζονται σε άλλα κλειστά νοσηλευτικά τμήματα. Συμπεράσματα: Η ψυχοσωματική υγεία των συμμετεχόντων στην μελέτη μας φαίνεται να επηρεάζεται από τον εργασιακό χώρο και το κυλιόμενο ωράριο. Στοιχεία επαγγελματικής εξουθένωσης βρέθηκαν σε όλους συμμετέχοντες της μελέτη μας και ιδιαίτερα στους εργαζομένους σε ψυχιατρικά τμήματα. | heal.generalDescription | Introduction: Burnout syndrome describes a work-related stressful situation that results in emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and reduced personal success in employees. The syndrome occurs in health professionals and the work of nurses, it has a direct relationship with people, and they experience daily it can burden their health. Purpose: The primary purpose of this research study was to investigate burnout in nurses working in psychiatric wards and other closed nursing wards of a university hospital. Methodology: The research was conducted using the quantitative methodology and distributing the questionnaires: SF-36 Health Survey Questionnaire, Cardiac Anxiety Questionnaire-CAQ and the Maslach Burnourt Inventory-MBI, to collect data from the nursing staff. Statistical analysis was performed with IBM-SPSS Statistics version 22 software. Results: The study was done in a population of 57 nurses, 32 in various nursing departments and 25 in psychiatric departments, with most nurses working 5 to 10 years. The analysis of the data revealed that nurses working in psychiatric wards suffer more from burnout compared to nurses working in other closed nursing wards. Conclusions: The psychosomatic health of the participants seems to be affected by the workplace and the rolling schedule. Evidence of burnout was found in all participants, with psychiatric ward workers more affected by the nature of the profession.
