| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία διερευνά τις αναπαραστάσεις του φύλου στα έργα δύο σύγχρονων συγγραφέων, της Έλενας Φερράντε και της Ιωάννας Καρυστιάνη, εστιάζοντας ιδιαίτερα στη διαμόρφωση της γυναικείας ταυτότητας στην περιφέρεια. Στην ανάλυση αξιοποιήθηκαν η «Τετραλογία της Νάπολης» της Έλενας Φερράντε και τα μυθιστορήματα Μικρά Αγγλία και Κουστούμι στο χώμα της Ιωάννας Καρυστιάνη. Στο πλαίσιο της φεμινιστικής θεωρίας και της γυναικείας γραφής μελετάται η επίδραση της κοινωνικής τάξης, της γεωγραφίας και της παράδοσης στη διαμόρφωση της γυναικείας ταυτότητας. Μέσω της συγκριτικής προσέγγισης αναλύονται οι διαπροσωπικές σχέσεις που καθορίζουν τις ηρωίδες. Η εργασία χωρίζεται σε δύο μέρη που απαρτίζονται από τρεις ενότητες το καθένα και εστιάζουν στις εκφάνσεις της γυναίκας ως μητέρα, συζύγου και φίλης. | el |
| heal.abstract | This master’s thesis explores gender representations in the works of two contemporary writers, Elena Ferrante and Ioanna Karystiani, focusing particularly on the formation of female identity in the periphery. The analysis draws on Elena Ferrante’s “The Neapolitan Quartet” and Ioanna Karystiani’s novels The Jasmine Isle and Suit in the Ground. Informed by feminist theory and women's writing, this study examines how social class, geography, and tradition shape female identity. Using a comparative approach, the interpersonal relationships that define the female protagonists are analyzed. The thesis is divided into two parts, each comprising three sections, and focuses on the roles of women as mother, wife and friend. | en |
