| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία επικεντρώνεται στη σημασία της λειτουργίας των τραπεζών στην παγκόσμια οικονομία και την επίδρασή τους στην ανάπτυξη των κρυπτονομισμάτων. Ο σκοπός αυτής της εργασίας είναι να διερευνήσει τους διάφορους τρόπους με τους οποίους οι τράπεζες διαμορφώνουν το χρηματοπιστωτικό τοπίο σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο και πώς η ανάπτυξη των κρυπτονομισμάτων αλλάζει τον τρόπο λειτουργίας τους. Η εργασία ξεκινά με μια ανάλυση του ρόλου των τραπεζών στην παγκόσμια οικονομία, εξετάζοντας πώς λειτουργούν ως μεσολαβητές στη χρηματοδότηση των οικονομιών, τη διαχείριση του κινδύνου και την εφαρμογή της χρηματοοικονομικής σταθερότητας. Επικεντρώνεται επίσης στην πολιτική ρύθμιση των τραπεζών και τον τρόπο με τον οποίο επηρεάζει τις οικονομίες και τις χρηματοοικονομικές αγορές. Στη συνέχεια, η εργασία εξετάζει την ανάπτυξη των κρυπτονομισμάτων και τον τρόπο με τον οποίο αυτά ασκούν πίεση στις παραδοσιακές τράπεζες και στο χρηματοπιστωτικό σύστημα. Εξετάζονται οι τεχνολογικές καινοτομίες που υποστηρίζουν τα κρυπτονομίσματα, όπως η τεχνολογία blockchain, καθώς και η αντίδραση των τραπεζών σε αυτήν την απειλή. Τέλος, η εργασία δίνει έμφαση στον χρηματοπιστωτικό τομέα, καθώς και στην ανάγκη για τις παραδοσιακές τράπεζες να προσαρμόζονται και να καινοτομούν προκειμένου να διατηρήσουν την ανταγωνιστική τους θέση σε έναν εξελισσόμενο χρηματοπιστωτικό κόσμο. Αυτή η πτυχιακή εργασία αναδεικνύει τη σημασία τόσο των τραπεζών όσο και των κρυπτονομισμάτων στην παγκόσμια οικονομία και προσφέρει μια περαιτέρω κατανόηση του πώς αλληλεπιδρούν αυτοί οι δύο κόσμοι στον χώρο των χρηματοοικονομικών. | el |

The purpose of this paper is to explore the various ways in which banks are shaping the financial landscape globally and how the development of cryptocurrencies is changing the way they operate. The paper begins with an analysis of the role of banks in the global economy, examining how they function as intermediaries in financing economies, managing risk and implementing financial stability. It also focuses on political regulation of banks and how it affects economies and financial markets. The paper then examines the growth of cryptocurrencies and how they are putting pressure on traditional banks and the financial system. Technological innovations underpinning cryptocurrencies, such as blockchain technology, are examined, as well as banks' response to this threat. Finally, the paper emphasizes the financial sector, as well as the need for traditional banks to adapt and innovate in order to maintain their competitive position in an evolving financial world. This thesis highlights the importance of both banking and cryptocurrencies in the global economy and offers a further understanding of how these two worlds interact in the financial space. | en |
