| heal.abstract | Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται αρχικά μια επιστημονική ιστορική αναδρομή του αυτισμού, προσεγγίζεται η κλινική εικόνα της Διαταραχής Αυτιστικού Φάσματος (ΔΑΦ) περιλαμβάνοντας τα διαγνωστικά κριτήρια της διαταραχής και παρουσιάζονται διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένα ανιχνευτικά και διαγνωστικά εργαλεία. Ακόμα, παρατίθενται ορισμένοι από τους αιτιοπαθογενετικούς και τους παράγοντες κινδύνου που ενοχοποιούνται για τη ΔΑΦ, γίνεται αναφορά στη συχνή συννοσηρότητα του αυτισμού με ψυχιατρικές διαταραχές, ενώ προβάλλονται, επίσης, διάφορα επιδημιολογικά δεδομένα. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο περιγράφονται οι τρείς κυρίαρχες γνωστικές θεωρίες, οι οποίες προσεγγίζουν ερμηνευτικά τα χαρακτηριστικά σε όλο το εύρος του φάσματος του αυτισμού, δίνοντας ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στις κοινωνικές και πραγματολογικές δυσκολίες που συνδέονται με αυτές. Το τρίτο κεφάλαιο πραγματεύεται την έννοια της συναισθηματικής ρύθμισης, το πώς πυρηνικές τάσεις του αυτισμού συσχετίζονται με την ελλειμματική ή διαταραγμένη ρύθμιση των συναισθημάτων, αλλά και το πώς η φτωχή συναισθηματική ρύθμιση αυξάνει τον κίνδυνο για την ανάπτυξη ψυχοπαθολογικών καταστάσεων. Στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο αναφέρονται δεδομένα σχετικά με τις αντιλήψεις και τους παράγοντες παρεμπόδισης για τη σύναψη και τη διατήρηση φιλικών σχέσεων σε άτομα με ΔΑΦ, ξεκινώντας από την παιδική και εφηβική ηλικία έως την ενήλικη ζωή. Συγχρόνως, διερευνάται η φύση της φιλίας ανάμεσα στα δύο φύλα. Το τελευταίο μέρος του κεφαλαίου πραγματεύεται το φαινόμενο της βίωσης περιστατικών εκφοβισμού και θυματοποίησης ατόμων που ανήκουν στο φάσμα. Στο πέμπτο κεφάλαιο ορίζονται οι έννοιες της υγείας και της ασθένειας υπό το πρίσμα των πολιτισμικών διαφορών και παρατίθενται παράγοντες που επηρεάζουν την έκφραση, την αναγνώριση, την ερμηνεία και την αναφορά των συμπτωμάτων της ΔΑΦ. Τέλος, θίγεται το ζήτημα του στίγματος που βιώνεται τόσο από τα ίδια τα άτομα, όσο και από τους φροντιστές τους. | el |
| heal.abstract | In the first chapter, an initial scientific historical overview of autism is provided, followed by a discussion of the clinical presentation of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including its diagnostic criteria. Internationally recognized screening and diagnostic tools are also listed. Additionally, certain etiopathogenetic factors and risk factors implicated in ASD are discussed, along with a reference to the frequent comorbidity of autism with psychiatric disorders, as well as various epidemiological data. The second chapter outlines the three dominant cognitive theories that interpret the characteristics across the entire autism spectrum, with particular emphasis on the social and pragmatic difficulties associated with these theories. The third chapter addresses the concept of emotional regulation, exploring how core tendencies of autism are related to deficient or disrupted emotional regulation and how poor emotional regulation increases the risk of developing psychopathological conditions. The fourth chapter offers data regarding the perceptions and obstructive factors in forming and maintaining friendships among individuals with ASD, spanning from childhood and adolescence to adulthood. It also explores the nature of friendship between the sexes. The final section of the chapter examines the phenomenon of bullying and victimization experiences among individuals within the autism spectrum. In the fifth chapter, the concepts of health and illness are defined through the lens of cultural differences, and factors influencing the expression, recognition, interpretation, and reporting of ASD symptoms are presented. Finally, the issue of stigma is addressed, which is experienced both by individuals with ASD and their caregivers. | en |
