| heal.abstract | Η εργασία πραγματεύεται το θέμα των εικονιστικών παραστάσεων των ψηφιδωτών δαπέδων των παλαιοχριστιανικών βασιλικών της Ηπείρου. Εκτός από την περιγραφή τους και την ανάλυση των συμβολικών θεμάτων τους, παρουσιάζεται και μια συγκριτική μελέτη, μέσω της οποίας καταδεικνύεται μια «κοινή» καλλιτεχνική παράδοση, στην οποία βασίζονται οι ψηφοθέτες που κινούνται σε όλη τη γεωγραφική έκταση της Ηπείρου. Η εργασία αναπτύσσεται με βάση το γεωγραφικό χώρο της βυζαντινής Ηπείρου και τη διοικητική διάρθρωση της σε Παλαιά και Νέα. Δυο, τουλάχιστον, ομοιογενείς ομάδες ψηφιδωτών δαπέδων, με δράση που χρονολογείται από τα μέσα 5ου έως το γ΄ τέταρτο του 6ουαι., που δραστηριοποιούνται στο γεωγραφικό χώρο της Ηπείρου. Η πρώτη ομάδα περιλαμβάνει τα πολύ γνωστά ψηφιδωτά της Νικόπολης και του Βουθρωτού, πόλεων που διοικητικά ανήκουν στην Παλαιά Ήπειρο, και η δεύτερη τα ψηφιδωτά της λίμνης Οχρίδας, περιοχής που διοικητικά ανήκει στην Νέα Ήπειρο. Στη σφαίρα επιρροής του εργαστηρίου της Νικόπολης, εκτός από τα ψηφιδωτά της Νικόπολης, ανήκουν τα ψηφιδωτά σύνολα του Βουθρωτού στην Αλβανία, της Παλαιόπολης στην Κέρκυρα, του Δρυμού στη Βόνιτσα Αιτωλοακαρνανίας,, της νήσου Κέφαλος στον Αμβρακικό κόλπο και του Αγίου Γεωργίου Δολιανών, στην κοιλάδα του Καλαμά. Στη σφαίρα επιρροής του άλλου εργαστηρίου, αυτού της Οχρίδας ,εκτός από τα ψηφιδωτά της πόλης Οχρίδας, ανήκουν τα ψηφιδωτά των βασιλικών που βρίσκονται στα περίχωρα της ομώνυμης λίμνης, καθώς και τα ψηφιδωτά βασιλικών της Βύλλιδας και Arapaj (Δυρράχιο), περιοχών της σημ. Αλβανίας. Οι ψηφοθέτες που εργάζονται στα διάφορα μνημεία κινούνται σε όλη τη γεωγραφική έκταση της Ηπείρου. Καθοριστικό ρόλο σε αυτή τη μετακίνηση των καλλιτεχνών, αλλά και στη διακίνηση των καλλιτεχνικών ρευμάτων έπαιξε το οδικό δίκτυο. | el |
| heal.abstract | The paper deals with the subject of the pictorial representations of the mosaic floors of the early Christian basilicas of Epirus. In addition to their description and analysis of their symbolic themes, a comparative study is presented, through which a "common" artistic tradition is demonstrated, on which the mosaicists who move throughout the geographical area of Epirus are based. The work is developed based on the geographical area of Byzantine Epirus and its administrative division into Epirus Vetus and Epirus Nova. Professor Panagiota Atzaka, in her article on the "Early Christian mosaic floors of Eastern Illyricum", published in the Actes du Xe Congrès International d’Archéologie Chrétienne in 1980, recognizes at least two homogeneous groups of mosaic floors, with activity dating from the mid-5th to the third quarter of the 6th century, who are active in the geographical area of Epirus. The first group includes the well-known mosaics of Nicopolis and Butrint, cities that administratively belong to Epirus Vetus, and the second the mosaics of Lake Ohrid, an area that administratively belongs to Epirus Nova. In the sphere of influence of Nicopolis workshop, in addition to the mosaics of the city of Nicopolis, belong the mosaics of Butrint in Albania, Paleopolis in Corfu, the settlement of Drymos in Vonitsa in Aitoloakarnania, the island of Kefalos in the Amvrakikos Gulf and the settlement of Agios Georgios in the Kalama valley. In the sphere of influence of the other workshop, that of Ohrid, in addition to the mosaics of the city of Ohrid, belong the mosaics of the basilicas located on the outskirts of the homonymous lake, as well as the mosaics of the basilicas of Byllis and Arapaj (Durres) in Albania. The artists working on the various monuments move throughout the geographical area of Epirus. The road network played a decisive role in this movement of artists, but also in the movement of artistic currents. | en |
