| heal.abstract | Υπόβαθρο: H δυσαρθρία ως μια νευροκινητική διαταραχή της ομιλίας απαντάται συχνά στη λογοπαθολογική κλινική πραγματικότητα. Η έγκαιρη αναγνώριση και διάγνωση της συγκεκριμένης διαταραχής είναι καίρια και πρέπει να γίνεται με πολλές μεθόδους. Ένας άμεσος τρόπος είναι οι κλίμακες που εκτελούν μια ταχεία εξέταση (Screening). Η παρούσα μελέτη παρέχει μια πιλοτική μελέτη της κλίμακας Robertson (RDP-R) σε νευροτυπικά ελληνόφωνα άτομα. Μεθοδολογία: Στη παρούσα μελέτη θα συμμετάσχουν ενήλικες χωρίς κάποια διαταραχή επικοινωνίας ηλικίας 18 έως 70+ ετών. Ακολουθήθηκαν όλα τα πρωτόκολλα διασφάλισης την ανωνυμίας των συμμετεχόντων και χρησιμοποιήθηκε η συγκεκριμένη κλίμακα αξιολόγησης. Η μετάφραση και η πολιτισμική προσαρμογή της RDP-R πραγματοποιήθηκε σύμφωνα με τα «Ελάχιστα Κριτήρια Μετάφρασης» και τις αρχές του ΠΟΥ. Αποτελέσματα: Στατιστικά σημαντική διαφορά εντοπίστηκε στο συνολικό σκορ του Robertson-Αναπνοής, του, Robertson-Φώνησης Συνολικό Σκορ, και του Robertson-Κίνησης Αρθρωτών Συνολικό Σκορ ως προς το φύλο. Επίσης, στατιστικά σημαντική διαφορά μεταξύ των ηλικιακών ομάδων στο συνολικό σκορ του Robertson-Αναπνοής, του, Robertson-Φώνησης Συνολικό Σκορ, και του Robertson-Κίνησης Αρθρωτών Συνολικό Σκορ. | heal.abstract | Background: Dysarthria as a neuromotor speech disorder is frequently encountered in SLP clinical reality. Early recognition and diagnosis of this disorder is crucial and should be done using many methods. One direct way is through scales that perform a rapid examination (Screening). The present study provides a pilot study of the Robertson Scale (RDP-R) in neurotypical Greek-speaking individuals. Methodology: Adults without any communication disorder aged 18 to 70+ years will participate in this study. All protocols to ensure the anonymity of the participants were followed and this specific assessment scale was used. The translation and cultural adaptation of the RDP-R was carried out in accordance with the “Minimum Translation Criteria” and the WHO principles. Results: A statistically significant difference was found in the total score of Robertson-Respiration, Robertson-Voice Total Score, and Robertson-Articulatory Movement Total Score according to gender. Also, a statistically significant difference was found between the age groups in the total score of Robertson-Respiration, Robertson-Voice Total Score, and Robertson-Articulatory Movement Total Score. Regarding the reliability test of the RDP-R scale, it was found that: Reliability Coefficients 9 items Alpha = 0.906 with inter-class correlation ranging from 0.871 to 0.913. Discussion: The results of the pilot form of the scale in the Greek language show that it can be used as a screening tool.
