| heal.abstract | Πυρήνας αυτής της εργασίας είναι η εξέταση και ανάλυση του αρχιτεκτονικού και πολεοδομικού σχεδιασμού των αρχαίων πόλεων της Χαλκιδικής κατά τους ιστορικούς χρόνους. Ειδικότερα, στην παρούσα εργασία μελετώνται οι περιπτώσεις τριών πολύ σημαντικών ιστορικά και αρχαιολογικά πόλεων της Χαλκιδικής, της Τορώνης, της Ολύνθου και των Σταγείρων. Η αρχαιολογική σκαπάνη στις παραπάνω θέσεις έφερε στο φως πλήθος ευρημάτων που επιτρέπουν σε μεγάλο ή έστω ικανοποιητικό βαθμό την ανασύνθεση των οχυρωματικών συστημάτων, του αστικού τοπίου και της αρχιτεκτονικής, βάσει της οποίας οικοδομήθηκαν. Η ανάλυση των παραπάνω πόλεων περιορίζεται στους αρχαϊκούς, κλασικούς και ελληνιστικούς χρόνους, ενώ η αναφορά σε κτίσματα προγενέστερων ή μεταγενέστερων περιόδων γίνεται περιστασιακά και μόνον όταν βοηθούν στην περαιτέρω ανάλυση και ερμηνεία των οικοδομημάτων που εντάσσονται στις περιόδους εξέτασης. | el |
| heal.abstract | The core of this work is the examination and analysis of the architectural and urban design of the ancient cities of Halkidiki during historical times. Specifically, this study focuses on three historically and archaeologically significant cities of Halkidiki: Torone, Olynthus, and Stageira. Archaeological excavations at these sites have uncovered numerous findings that allow for a substantial, if not satisfactory, reconstruction of the fortification systems, urban landscape, and architecture upon which they were built. The analysis of these cities is limited to the Archaic, Classical, and Hellenistic periods, while references to structures from earlier or later periods are made occasionally and only when they contribute to the further analysis and interpretation of the buildings within the examined periods. | en |
