| heal.abstract | Το λεκανοπέδιο των Ιωαννίνων μαζί με την κατώτερη πτυχή του, που είναι η λίμνη των Ιωαννίνων Παμβώτιδα, αποτέλεσαν επίκεντρο γεωλογικών μεταβολών, εναλλαγής των οικολογικών και υδρολογικών συστημάτων της περιοχής, καθώς και χώρο ανάπτυξης κοιτίδων πολιτισμού. Κάθε κοιτίδα έγραψε, μια ξεχωριστή ιστορία και άφησε ένα αντίστοιχο ξεχωριστό αποτύπωμα στο χωροχρόνο, από τα βάθη προηγούμενων χιλιετιών, μέχρι και σήμερα. Οι τελευταίες ανθρωπογενείς παρεμβάσεις, που συνέβησαν με την μείζονος κλίμακας αστικοποίηση του λεκανοπεδίου, επηρέασαν τη φυσική και εύρυθμη λειτουργία του υδρολογικού συστήματος, το οποίο πριν λίγες δεκαετίες αποτελούνταν από τις συγκοινωνούσες λίμνες Ιωαννίνων και Λαψίστας. Η αποξήρανση της λίμνης της Λαψίστας, για τεκμηριωμένους λόγους εκείνης της εποχής, σχεδιάστηκε και εκτελέστηκε περί τα τέλη της δεκαετίας του ΄50 και αρχές του ΄60. Στα αμέσως επόμενα χρόνια, εμφανίστηκαν οι πρώτες δυσμενείς επιπτώσεις στο υδρολογικό σύστημα και κατ’ επέκταση σε όλο το οικοσύστημα της περιοχής. Σήμερα, μετά την αποξήρανση της λίμνης Λαψίστας, την αύξηση του ποσοστού δόμησης του λεκανοπεδίου και κατά συνέπεια την επιβάρυνση του περιβάλλοντος με ρυπογόνο φορτίο, σε συνδυασμό με την εμφάνιση ακραίων καιρικών φαινομένων, θεωρώ ότι μια μελέτη αποκατάστασης και πρόληψης δυσμενέστερων εξελίξεων και καταστάσεων κρίνεται επιτακτική και αναγκαία. Με την παρούσα εργασία, προσπαθώ να προσεγγίσω μια σειρά διαδοχικών παρεμβάσεων, που αποσκοπούν αφενός μεν στο να βελτιώσουν το υγροσύστημα των λιμνών Παμβώτιδας και Λαψίστας και αφετέρου να δημιουργήσουν μια υποδομή «ανασχέσεων» ακραίων καιρικών φαινομένων, όπως πλημμύρες. Η τελική αρχιτεκτονική χειρονομία εστιάζεται σε ένα βιωματικό μουσείο, στην Αμφιθέα, που έχει σαν ιδέα σχεδιασμού τη φυσική λειτουργία των εστεβελών και αντικειμενικό σκοπό να γίνει ένας επισκέψιμος χώρος όπου να βιώνεται ο γεωλογικός χώρος του λεκανοπεδίου με επίκεντρο τις εστεβέλες, καθώς και η όλη εξέλιξη του υγροσυστήματος των λιμνών Παμβώτιδας και Λαψίστας Ιωαννίνων. | el |
| heal.abstract | The Ioannina basin together with its lowest part, which constitutes the Pavotis Lake of Ioannina, led to a focus of geological changes, an alternation of the ecological and hydrological systems of the region, as well as a place for the settlement of culture cradles. Each cradle wrote, a separate history and left a corresponding separate imprint in space and time, from the depths of previous millennia, until today. In particular, the latest anthropogenic interventions, which occurred with the large-scale urbanization of the basin, affected the natural and orderly functioning of the hydrological system. Α few decades ago the system consisted mainly of the communicating lakes of Ioannina and Lapsista. The draining of the lake of Lapsista, for documented reasons of that time, was planned and executed around the end of the 50’s and beginning of the 60’s. In the following years, it showed the first adverse effects on the hydrological system and, by extension, on the entire ecosystem. Today, after the drying up of Lapsista Lake, the increase in the construction rate of the basin and consequently the burden of the environment with a pollutant load, combined with the occurrence of extreme weather phenomena in Greece, I believe that a study of restoration and prevention of more unfavorable developments and situations is judged imperative and necessary. With this work, at first I try to approach potential solutions, which aim, on the one hand, to improve the water system of the lakes of Pamvotis and Lapsista and on the other hand, to create an infrastructure to resist extreme weather phenomena, such as floods. The final architectural intervantion is focused on an experiential museum, in Amphithea, Ioannina, which has as its design concept the natural function of the estevelas and the objective of becoming a visitable space where the geological area of the basin can be experienced with a focus on esteveles as well as the physical and more general evolution and development of Pamvotis and Lapsista lake of Ioannina. | en |
