| heal.abstract | Η πράσινη οικονομία είναι η οικονομία καθαρής ενέργειας που δίνει έμφαση κυρίως στις ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας και στην ενεργειακή απόδοση. Σκοπός της παρούσας έρευνας ήταν να διερευνήσει τις απόψεις των Ελλήνων πολιτών σχετικά με τη χρήση των ανανεώσιμων πηγών ενέργειας. Πραγματοποιήθηκε ποσοτική συγχρονική μελέτη με δείγμα 200 Έλληνες πολίτες. Διαπιστώθηκε ότι οι Έλληνες πολίτες θεωρούν ότι έχουν κατά κύριο λόγο μέτριες γνώσεις σχετικά με τις ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας, και μόνο το 32% τις χρησιμοποιούσαν. Παρόλα αυτά, διαπιστώθηκε ότι σε γενικές γραμμές κυριαρχούν θετικές απόψεις σχετικά με τη σημαντικότητα της χρήσης των ανανεώσιμων πηγών ενέργειας για τη μείωση της περιβαλλοντικής ρύπανσης και της κλιματικής αλλαγής, ενώ οι συμμετέχοντες έχουν κατά κύριο λόγο μέτριες απόψεις σχετικά με την οικονομική συνεισφορά των ανανεώσιμων πηγών ενέργειας. Επιπλέον, οι περισσότεροι συμμετέχοντες θα πλήρωναν μέχρι 5 ευρώ επιπλέον για να αποκτήσουν ηλεκτρική ενέργεια από ανανεώσιμες πηγές. Παράλληλα, βρέθηκε ότι οι άνδρες έχουν ελαφρώς καλύτερες γνώσεις συγκριτικά με τις γυναίκες σχετικά με τις ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας, και ότι οι συμμετέχοντες 18-30 ετών και οι κάτοχοι διδακτορικού και μεταπτυχιακού έχουν καλύτερες γνώσεις και θετικότερες απόψεις για τις ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας. Προτείνεται συνεπώς να αναπτυχθούν κατάλληλες στρατηγικές για την ενημέρωση του κοινού τόσο σχετικά με την πράσινη οικονομία, όσο και για τις ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας, καθώς και στρατηγικές για αύξηση της χρήσης των ανανεώσιμων πηγών ενέργειας. | |
| heal.abstract | The green economy is a clean energy economy that focuses mainly on renewable energy sources and energy efficiency. The purpose of this research was to explore the views of Greek citizens on the use of renewable energy sources. A quantitative cross-sectional study was carried out with a sample of 200 Greek citizens. It was found that Greek citizens consider that they have mainly mediocre knowledge about renewable energy sources, and only 32% used them. However, there were generally positive views on the importance of using renewable energy sources to reduce environmental pollution and climate change, while participants have predominantly moderate views on the financial contribution of renewable energy sources. In addition, most participants would pay up to € 5 extra to get electricity from renewable sources. At the same time, it was found that men have slightly better knowledge than women about renewable energy sources, and that participants aged 18-30 and PhD and postgraduate holders have better knowledge and more positive views about renewable energy sources. It is therefore proposed to develop appropriate strategies for informing the public about both the green economy and renewable energy sources, as well as strategies to increase the use of renewable energy sources. | en |
