| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία είχε ως στόχο τον έλεγχο των ψυχομετρικών ιδιοτήτων του εργαλείου μέτρησης της συμπεριφορικής αυτο-ρύθμισης Head-Toes-Knees-Shoulders (HTKS; McClelland et al., 2007. Ponitz et al., 2008. Ponitz et al., 2009) σε ελληνικό πληθυσμό παιδιών. Πιο συγκεκριμένα επιχειρήθηκε να ελεγχθούν η δομική εγκυρότητα, η αξιοπιστία εσωτερικής συνέπειας και η συγκλίνουσα εγκυρότητα. Το HTKS χορηγήθηκε παράλληλα με τη συστοιχία δοκιμασιών Raven’s Educational CPM/CVS (Coloured Progressive Matrices/Crichton Vocabulary Scales; Raven et al., 2003/2004) για να ελεγχθεί η συγκλίνουσα εγκυρότητα του HTKS με εργαλεία μέτρησης γενικής νοημοσύνης, ενώ συμπληρώθηκε και το Childhood Executive Functioning Inventory (CHEXI) (CHEXI; Thorell & Nyberg, 2008), είτε από τον πατέρα, είτε από την μητέρα του κάθε παιδιού, ώστε να ελεγχθεί η συγκλίνουσα εγκυρότητα του HTKS με ένα ερωτηματολόγιο εκτίμησης των εκτελεστικών λειτουργιών. Τέλος χορηγήθηκε και το Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE; Folstein et al., 1975) για να ελεγχθεί η συγκλίνουσα εγκυρότητα του HTKS με ένα εργαλείο μέτρησης της γνωστικής λειτουργικότητας. Το δείγμα της παρούσας έρευνας αποτελούνταν από 87 παιδιά, 55 (63,2%) κορίτσια και 32 (36,8 %) αγόρια, ηλικίας 4 έως 8 ετών, ενώ στην έρευνα συμμετείχε και ο ένας από τους δύο γονείς του κάθε παιδιού (Ν=87). Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας έδειξαν ότι επιβεβαιώθηκε η μονοπαραγοντική δομή της ελληνικής εκδοχής του HTKS, το HTKS είχε καλή αξιοπιστία εσωτερικής συνέπειας, καθώς και καλή συγκλίνουσα εγκυρότητα ως προς το MMSE και το Raven’s Educational CPM/CVS. Συνεπώς το HTKS θα μπορούσε να θεωρηθεί ως ένα έγκυρο και αξιόπιστο εργαλείο για την εκτίμηση της συμπεριφορικής αυτο-ρύθμισης των παιδιών στο ελληνικό πολιτισμικό πλαίσιο. | el |
| heal.abstract | The present study aimed to test the psychometric properties of the Head-Toes-Knees-Shoulders task, of behavioral self-regulation (HTKS; McClelland et al., 2007; Ponitz et al., 2008; Ponitz et al., 2009) in a population of Greek children. More specifically, it was attempted the test of structural validity, internal consistency, reliability and convergent validity. The HTKS was administered alongside Raven's Educational CPM/CVS (Coloured Progressive Matrices/Crichton Vocabulary Scales; Raven et al, 2003/2004) to test the convergent validity of the HTKS with instruments measuring general intelligence, and the Childhood Executive Functioning Inventory (CHEXI; Thorell & Nyberg, 2008) was completed by either the father or the mother of each child, to test the convergent validity of the HTKS with an executive function assessment questionnaire. Finally, the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE; Folstein et al., 1975) was administered to test the convergent validity of the HTKS with an instrument measuring cognitive functioning. The sample of the present study consisted of 87 children, 55 (63.2%) girls and 32 (36.8%) boys, aged 4 to 8 years, and one of the two parents of each child (N = 87) participated in the study. The results of the study showed that the structure of the Greek version of the HTKS was confirmed, the HTKS had good internal consistency reliability, as well as good convergent validity to the MMSE and Raven's Educational CPM/CVS. Therefore, the HTKS could be considered a valid and reliable measure for assessing children's behavioral self-regulation in the Greek cultural context. | en |
