| heal.abstract | Το Alzheimer αποτελεί μια από τις μεγαλύτερες προκλήσεις που αντιμετωπίζει ο υγειονομικός χώρος σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο τον 21ο αιώνα. Ο αριθμός των ασθενών αυξάνεται ραγδαία εξαιτίας της αύξησης του προσδόκιμου ζωής και της ταυτόχρονης γήρανσης του παγκόσμιου πληθυσμού. Ωστόσο έως και σήμερα δεν έχει βρεθεί αποτελεσματική θεραπεία για την αντιμετώπιση της νόσου. Εξαιτίας αυτής της συνθήκης δίνεται μεγάλη έμφαση στις παρεμβάσεις που στοχεύουν στην πρόληψη. Η νόσος εμφανίζεται με έκπτωση στη βραχυχρόνια μνήμη σε συνδυασμό με αφασία, απραξία, αγνωσία και δυσκολία στην εκτελεστική λειτουργία. Στα τελευταία στάδια της νόσου οι ασθενείς χρειάζονται βοήθεια ακόμα και για τις πιο απλές καθημερινές δραστηριότητες. Η βοήθεια αυτή παρέχεται κυρίως από την οικογένεια των ατόμων και από το νοσηλευτικό προσωπικό στοχεύοντας στη βελτίωση του τρόπο ζωής των ασθενών. Σκοπός: Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η πραγματοποίηση ανασκόπησης της βιβλιογραφίας για τον εντοπισμό και παρουσίαση της νόσου Alzheimer και των νοσηλευτικών παρεμβάσεων γύρω από αυτήν . Υλικό-Μέθοδος: Πραγματοποιήθηκε μελέτη βιβλίων αλλά και ανασκόπηση της διεθνούς βιβλιογραφίας στις ηλεκτρονικές βάσεις PubMed και Google Scholar. Το υλικό συλλέχθηκε κατόπιν λεπτομερούς μελέτης της σχετικής βιβλιογραφίας, η οποία προέκυψε από επιλεγμένα άρθρα και βιβλία. Αποτελέσματα: Τα άτομα που πάσχουν από τη νόσο Alzheimer βιώνουν πολλαπλά προβλήματα στη καθημερινότητά τους, αντιμετωπίζοντας συμπτώματα που επιδρούν στη σωματική, πνευματική και ψυχική τους κατάσταση. Με τη κατάλληλη φαρμακευτική αγωγή και τις εναλλακτικές μορφές θεραπείας καθώς και με την ψυχολογική υποστήριξη ο νοσηλευτής μπορεί να ενθαρρύνει το κάθε άτομο ξεχωριστά να αποκτήσει τη καλύτερη δυνατή ποιότητα ζωής. Συμπεράσματα: Γίνεται σαφές ότι ο νοσηλευτής παίζει σημαντικό ρόλο στην σωστή καθοδήγηση των ατόμων που πάσχουν από νόσο Alzheimer. Είναι εκείνος που διαθέτει τις κατάλληλες επαγγελματικές δεξιότητες ώστε να επιτευχθεί η καλύτερη πρόληψη και αντιμετώπιση των συμπτωμάτων που επιφέρει η νόσος. Ο νοσηλευτής παρέχει ένα καλό επίπεδο ζωής στο άτομο, που του επιτρέπει να διατηρήσει την αξιοπρέπεια του ακόμα και σε τελικό στάδιο. | el |
| heal.abstract | Alzheimer’s disease represents one of the biggest challenges which must be faced by the healthcare system in the 21st century. The number of patients with Alzheimer disease is rapidly increasing because of the aging world population and the increase in life expectancy. To this day no effective treatment has been found to treat the disease. Because of this condition emphasis is placed on interventions to prevent the disease. The disease symptoms include decrease in short-term memory in combination with aphasia, apraxia, agnosia, and difficulty in executive function. In the later stages of the disease, patients need help with even the simplest daily activities. This help is provided mainly by the families of the individuals and by the nursing staff who aim to improve the lifestyle of the patients. Purpose: The purpose of this work is the review of bibliography in order to identify and present information’s about the disease and the nursing interventions in people with Alzheimer’s disease. Material-Method: The method used to write this dissertation is by reviewing books and the international bibliography in the electronic databases of PubMed and Google Scholar. The material was collected after a thorough study of the relevant bibliography, which emerged from selected articles and books. Results: People with Alzheimer's disease face multiple problems in their daily lives, experiencing symptoms that affect their physical, mental, and emotional state. With right medication and alternative therapies as well as psychological support, the nurse can encourage each person individually to have the best possible quality of life. Conclusions: It becomes clear that the nurse plays an important role in the proper guidance of people experiencing Alzheimer’s disease. He is the one who has the appropriate professional skills in order to achieve the best prevention and treatment of the symptoms caused by the disease. The nurse provides a good living standard for the individual that allows him to maintain his dignity even in the final stages. | en |
