| heal.abstract | Η αφασία είναι μια πολυδιάστατη κλινική οντότητα και μπορεί να προσεγγιστεί από διάφορες σκοπιές, ανάλογα με το πεδίο στο οποίο ανήκει ο εκάστοτε επιστήμονας. Εμείς, στην παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία, προσεγγίζουμε την αφασία νευροβιολογικά, σκεπτόμενοι τον εγκέφαλο ως ένα «επικοινωνιακό όργανο» που αποτελείται από πολλά και πολύπλοκα νευρωνικά δίκτυα. Αφού αναφέρουμε συνοπτικά κάποιες κλασικές αντιλήψεις για την αφασία, κάνουμε μια βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση σημαντικών ερευνών, προκειμένου να αποσαφηνίσουμε τον τρόπο με τον οποίο ο αφασικός εγκέφαλος αναδιοργανώνεται και αναρρώνει. Αυτή η δυνατότητα αναπροσαρμογής του εγκεφάλου στις νέες συνθήκες της βλάβης, που ονομάζεται νευροπλαστικότητα, προκαλεί εύλογα το ερώτημα: πώς ο σύγχρονος θεραπευτής θα «εκμεταλλευτεί» τις αλλαγές στην παρέμβασή του (από την ανατομία στη συμπεριφορά), και πώς μπορεί να τις ενισχύσει παρεμβαίνοντας (από τη συμπεριφορά στην ανατομία); Η απάντηση δεν είναι εύκολη, καθώς ακόμη δεν έχουν συσχετιστεί συγκεκριμένες θεραπευτικές τεχνικές με συγκεκριμένους μηχανισμούς αποκατάστασης. Παρ’ όλ’ αυτά, τα ευρήματα και οι απόψεις που παρουσιάζονται θα βοηθήσουν τους μελλοντικούς θεραπευτές να δημιουργήσουν μια νευροαποκαταστατική προσέγγιση, γύρω από τον τρόπο με τον οποίο πρέπει να σκέφτονται τη θεραπεία στην αφασία, αλλά και το κίνητρο να μετατρέψουν την προσέγγιση αυτή σε τεκμηριωμένη κλινική πρακτική. | el |
| heal.abstract | Aphasia is a multidimensional clinical entity and can be approached from different perspectives, depending on the field to which the scientist belongs. Aphasia is a multidimensional clinical entity and can be approached from different perspectives, depending on the field to which the scientist belongs. We, in this thesis, approach aphasia neurobiologically, thinking of the brain as a "communicative organ" which consists of many and complex neural networks. After summarizing some classic perceptions of aphasia, we conduct a literature review of important studies to elucidate how the aphasic brain reorganizes and recovers. This ability to readjust the brain to the new conditions of damage, called neuroplasticity, reasonably raises the question: how will the modern therapist use the changes to their advantage of intervention (from anatomy to behavior) and how can he reinforce them by intervening (from behavior to anatomy)? The answer is not easy, as specific therapeutic techniques have not yet been associated with specific recovery mechanisms. Nevertheless, the findings and views presented will help future therapists to create a neurorehabilitative approach around how they should think about aphasia therapy, but also the motivation to transform the approach - based on evidence-based clinical practice. | en |
