| heal.abstract | Εισαγωγή: Ένα από τα κυριότερα ζητήματα που απασχολούν παγκοσμίως την υγεία και την κοινωνία είναι η παιδική κακοποίηση. Το φαινόμενο της παιδικής κακοποίησης είναι ένα διαχρονικό πρόβλημα με αυξητικές τάσεις και η πρόληψή του είναι προτεραιότητα όλων. Η κακοποίηση ανηλίκων έχει σημαντικές συνέπειες στην ψυχολογική και σωματική υγεία τους, τις οποίες φέρουν και στην ενήλικη ζωή τους. Ο ρόλος της νοσηλευτικής είναι ιδιαίτερα σημαντικός καθώς συμβάλλει στην διάγνωση της κακοποίησης, παρέχει προστασία και φροντίδα στα παιδιά και επίσης είναι ένας καθοριστικός παράγοντας της πρόληψης. Σκοπός: Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η πραγματοποίηση ανασκόπησης της βιβλιογραφίας για τον εντοπισμό του φαινομένου της παιδικής κακοποίησης και του ρόλου των νοσηλευτών. Υλικό-Μέθοδος: Πραγματοποιήθηκε ανασκόπηση της διεθνούς βιβλιογραφίας στις ηλεκτρονικές βάσεις PubMed και Google Scholar. Το υλικό συλλέχθηκε κατόπιν λεπτομερούς μελέτης της σχετικής βιβλιογραφίας, η οποία προέκυψε από επιλεγμένα άρθρα δημοσιευμένα, κατά κύριο λόγο, στην αγγλική γλώσσα. Αποτελέσματα: Η παιδική κακοποίηση, ανεξάρτητα με ποια μορφή παρουσιάζεται είναι ένα οδυνηρό βίωμα για τα παιδιά και τα επηρεάζει σε ψυχολογικό και σωματικό επίπεδο και μερικές φορές επέρχεται και θάνατος. Με τα κατάλληλα μέτρα, το φαινόμενο της παιδικής κακοποίησης μπορεί να προληφθεί και να αντιμετωπιστεί και σε αυτό η νοσηλευτική επιστήμη είναι απαραίτητη. Συμπεράσματα: Ο νοσηλευτής είναι αυτός που έχει στενή επαφή με τους ασθενείς του και είναι υπεύθυνος για την φροντίδα τους. Έτσι, οι νοσηλευτές στα παιδιατρικά τμήματα είναι εκείνοι που έρχονται πρώτοι σε επαφή με τα παιδιά και μπορούν να διαγνώσουν την κακοποίησή τους και να κινήσουν διαδικασίες για την αντιμετώπισή τους παρέχοντας τους πάνω από όλα ασφάλεια και στοργή. | el |
| heal.abstract | Introduction: One of the main issues concerning health and society worldwide is child abuse. The phenomenon of child abuse is diachronic and a growing problem, the prevention of which should be a matter of utmost priority. Children abuse has a significant effect on children’s bodies and psychology and could influence their adult life as well. The role of nursing is particularly essential since it does not only contribute to the diagnosis of any abuse but also protects, takes care of the mistreated children and is regarded as a pivotal factor for its prevention. Purpose: The aim of this current study is the overview of certain literature which investigates the phenomenon of child abuse in relation to the role of the nurses in dealing with this problem. Material-Methods: The review of the international literature was realized in specific platforms such as PubMed and Google Scholar. The material has been derived from meticulous study based on certain published articles written in English. Results: Independently of what type of maltreatment has been exerted on children, the experience is extremely painful that influences the victims and affects them both physically and psychologically and sometimes results even in death. The phenomenon of child abuse can be prevented and dealt satisfactorily with certain appropriate measures and treatment and the role of the nurses in the problem is considered to be essential. Conclusions: It is well known that nurses establish a close relationship with their patients and are hold responsible for their care and treatment. Moreover, the nurses inpediatric clinics are the ones who first come in contact with the abused children and can diagnose their maltreatment. Also, they are the first to initiate the procedures in order to deal with the abuse and surround the children with safety and affection. | en |
