| heal.abstract | Η πολλαπλή σκλήρυνση ή αλλιώς σκλήρυνση κατά πλάκας ανήκει στην κατηγορία των νευροεκφυλιστικών παθήσεων. Είναι μια συχνή, χρόνια αυτοάνοση νόσος που εμφανίζεται, συνήθως, στα πρώτα έτη της ενήλικης ζωής, με μια ελαφρά υπεροχή του γυναικείου φύλου. Η πολλαπλή σκλήρυνση επηρεάζει τους τομείς του λόγου, της ομιλίας και της επικοινωνίας προκαλώντας δυσκολίες στην καθημερινότητα και την αλληλεπίδραση των ατόμων που πάσχουν από αυτήν. Σκοπός της παρούσας πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι η παρουσίαση και η ανάλυση, αρχικά, των χαρακτηριστικών της πολλαπλής σκλήρυνσης, και, έπειτα, των επιπτώσεων που επιφέρει η νόσος στους τομείς της γλώσσας, της ομιλίας και της επικοινωνίας σύμφωνα με τη βιβλιογραφική επισκόπηση. Συγκεκριμένα, στο πρώτο και γενικό μέρος, επισημαίνονται τα επιδημιολογικά και τα ιστορικά στοιχεία της νόσου, τα συμπτώματα, τα αίτια, η διάγνωση, η πρόγνωση, οι μορφές και κάποιες πληροφορίες για τη θεραπεία της πολλαπλής σκλήρυνσης. Επιπλέον, στο δεύτερο και ειδικό μέρος, αναλύονται οι διαταραχές ομιλίας, λόγου και επικοινωνίας, αλλά και τα γνωστικά ελλείμματα και κάποιες διαταραχές συμπεριφοράς και διάθεσης που προκύπτουν από τη σκλήρυνση κατά πλάκας. Τέλος, γίνεται λόγος για τη χρήσιμη βοήθεια που μπορεί να παρέχει ο λογοθεραπευτής μέσω των εξειδικευμένων προγραμμάτων λογοθεραπείας στην αποκατάσταση ή βελτίωση των παραπάνω δυσκολιών. | el |
| heal.abstract | Multiple sclerosis belongs to the category of neurodegenerative diseases. It is a frequent, chronic autoimmune disease, that appears usually in the first years of adult life, with a slight predominance of the female sex. Multiple sclerosis affects the areas of speech, language and communication and causing difficulties in the daily life and interaction of people suffering from her. The purpose of this thesis is to present and analyze, first, the characteristics of multiple sclerosis, and then the effects of the disease in the areas of language, speech and communication according to the literature review. Specifically, in the first and general part, are highlighted the epidemiological and historical data of the disease, symptoms and causes, diagnosis and prognosis, the clinical course of MS and some information on the treatment of multiple sclerosis. In addition, in the second and special part are analyzed the speech, language and communication disorders, as well as the cognitive deficits and some behavioral and mood disorders resulting from multiple sclerosis. Finally, the useful help that the speech therapist can provide through specialized speech therapy programs in the rehabilitation or improvement of the above difficulties was studied. | en |
