| heal.abstract | Παρά την μεγάλη εξέλιξη των μεθόδων ανίχνευσης και αποκατάστασης της ακοής, η βαρηκοΐα συνεχίζει να συνιστά μέχρι και σήμερα ένα σοβαρό, πολυεπίπεδο πρόβλημα μεγάλου μέρους του ανθρώπινου πληθυσμού. Στην παρούσα εργασία μελετάται η βαρηκοΐα σε παιδιά σχολικής ηλικίας, και πιο συγκεκριμένα τα χαρακτηριστικά του λόγου και της ομιλίας των παιδιών αυτών, αλλά και ορισμένοι μέθοδοι αποκατάστασης. Πιο αναλυτικά, στα πρώτα δύο κεφάλαια αναφέρονται τα ανατομικά και λειτουργικά συστατικά μέρη του ωτός και, έπειτα, περιγράφεται η φυσιολογίας της ακοής. Στα επόμενα δύο κεφάλαια αναπτύσσονται οι όροι της βαρηκοΐας και της κώφωσης, τα είδη βαρηκοΐας και οι αιτιολογικοί της παράγοντες. Στο πέμπτο κεφάλαιο περιγράφονται οι διαδικασίες ανίχνευσης της βαρηκοΐας, που χωρίζονται σε υποκειμενικές και αντικειμενικές δοκιμασίες, ενώ οι μέθοδοι αποκατάστασής της αναλύονται στο έκτο κεφάλαιο και παρουσιάζονται οι διάφοροι τύποι ακουστικών βαρηκοΐας και τα κοχλιακά εμφυτεύματα. Ακολούθως, στο έβδομο κεφάλαιο γίνεται λόγος για τα γλωσσικά και επικοινωνιακά χαρακτηριστικά των παιδιών σχολικής ηλικίας που παρουσιάζουν βαρηκοΐα ή κώφωση, κατηγοριοποιημένα με βάση το βαθμό σοβαρότητας του ελλείματος ακοής, καθώς και εκτενής ανάλυση των χαρακτηριστικών της γλώσσας, της ομιλίας και του αλφαβητισμού των παιδιών αυτών. Τα τελευταία δύο κεφάλαια της εργασίας, αναφέρονται στην αξιολόγηση των προαναφερθέντων τομέων από ειδικούς επαγγελματίες και στην θεραπευτική προσέγγιση πιθανών ελλειμμάτων στους τομείς αυτούς, με ιδιαίτερη μνεία στην συμβολή της εκπαιδευτικής κοινότητας αλλά και στον ρόλο του λογοπαθολόγου. | el |
| heal.abstract | Despite the great development of hearing detection and rehabilitation methods, hearing loss continues to be a serious, multifaceted problem for a large part of the human population. This study is about hearing loss in school-aged children and more specifically their speech and language characteristics and some rehabilitation methods. In more detail, the first two chapters analyze the elements of anatomy and function of the ear and describe the physiology of hearing. In the next two chapters, the terms of hearing loss and deafness, the types of hearing loss and its causative factors are developed. In the fifth chapter, the procedures for detecting hearing loss are described, which are divided into subjective and objective tests, while the methods of its rehabilitation are analyzed in the sixth chapter and the various types of hearing aids and cochlear implants are presented. Then, in the seventh chapter, we talk about the communicative and linguistic characteristics of school-aged children with hearing loss or deafness -these characteristics are categorized based on the degree of severity of the hearing loss, as well as an extensive analysis of speech, language and literacy characteristics of these children. The last two chapters of this thesis refer to the evaluation of the above mentioned domains by professionals and to the therapeutic approach of possible deficits in these areas, with particular reference to the contribution of the educational community and the role of the speech pathologist. | en |
