| heal.abstract | Η παρακάτω Πτυχιακή εργασία αποτελείται από δύο μέρη, το θεωρητικό και το ερευνητικό. Στο θεωρητικό μέρος στόχος μας είναι να αναλύσουμε το υπόβαθρο της φυσιολογικής κατάποσης, της δυσφαγίας και της αξιολόγησης και θεραπείας αυτής σε παιδιά προσχολικής ηλικίας. Συγκεκριμένα στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο στοχεύουμε στην ανάλυση των ανατομικών δομών που συμμετέχουν στην φυσιολογική κατάποση και το νευρομυϊκό υπόβαθρο αυτής. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο αναλύονται τα στάδια της κατάποσης καθώς επίσης και τα αναπτυξιακά ορόσημα της. Στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο αναφερόμαστε στον ορισμό και τους τύπους της δυσφαγίας. Στο τέταρτο, στην συμπτωματολογία και στις συσχετίσεις και τα αίτια της δυσφαγίας. Στο πέμπτο, αναλύουμε τις μεθόδους αξιολόγησης της δυσφαγίας σε παιδιά προσχολικής ηλικίας και στο τελευταίο τη θεραπεία της δυσφαγίας καθώς και το ρόλο του Λογοπαθολόγου/ Λογοθεραπευτή σε αυτήν. Στο δεύτερο και ερευνητικό κομμάτι αυτής της πτυχιακής εργασίας στόχος μας είναι η στατιστική ανάλυση των αποτελεσμάτων του ερωτηματολογίου Behavioral Pediatrics Feeding Assessment Scale (BPFAS), το οποίο μεταφράσαμε, προσαρμόσαμε στην ελληνική γλώσσας και χορηγήσαμε σε κηδεμόνες παιδιών προσχολικής ηλικίας. Επίσης, ένα άλλο κομμάτι της έρευνας είναι η απάντηση διαφόρων ερευνητικών ερωτημάτων που θέσαμε. | el |
| heal.abstract | The following thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical and the research part. In the theoretical part our aim is to analyze the background of normal swallowing, dysphagia and its assessment and treatment in preschool children. Specifically, in the first chapter we aim to analyze the anatomical structures involved in normal swallowing and the neuromuscular background of it. In the second chapter, the stages of swallowing as well as its developmental milestones are analysed. In the third chapter we discuss the definition and types of dysphagia. In the fourth, the symptomatology and the correlates and causes of dysphagia. In the fifth, we discuss the methods of dysphagia assessment in preschool children and in the last, we discuss the treatment of dysphagia and the role of the speech and language pathologist/speech therapist in it. In the second and research part of this thesis, our aim is the statistical analysis of the results of the Behavioral Pediatrics Feeding Assessment Scale (BPFAS) questionnaire, which we translated, adapted into Greek and administered to caregivers of preschool children.
