| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα μελέτη στοχοθετείται στη φιλοσοφική ενδοσκόπηση των εννοιών της πολιτικής και της ηγεσίας, όπως αυτές εγγράφονται φιλοσοφικά στην Θουκυδίδου Ξυγγραφή και στον Πολιτικό του Πλάτωνα. Ειδικότερα, εξετάζονται οι απαρχές του θεωρητικού στοχασμού πάνω στην έννοια του πολιτικού ως εκείνο το στοιχείο που συγκεράζει τις ανομοιότητες των μελών της πόλης και δυνάμει μπορεί να εκφράσει το γενικό συμφέρον της κοινωνίας ως ολότητας. Η ενδελεχής εξέταση του θουκυδίδειου κειμένου αναφύει όλες εκείνες τις οντολογικές παρατηρήσεις σχετικά με την ανάπτυξη της ανθρώπινης φύσης και των εκτροπών της, σε συνδυασμό με τον τρόπο κατανόησης του πολιτικού γίγνεσθαι εμπεδωμένο εντός της εμπειρικής πραγματικότητας στο πλαίσιο της αρχαίας ελληνικής πόλης. Ο πλατωνικός Πολιτικός επιχειρεί τη θεμελίωση της πολιτικής επί μιας επιστημονικής βάσης, εξετάζοντας εναλλακτικούς τύπους ηγεσίας και εν τέλει ευρίσκοντας το ιδανικό παράδειγμα ηγήτορα στον βασιλικό-υφαντή. Η μελέτη, λοιπόν, των δύο ανωτέρω κειμένων παρέχουν μια ενδιαφέρουσα- από φιλοσοφικής άποψης- επαναπροσέγγιση των εννοιών της πολιτικής και της ηγεσίας, παρ’ όλο που η θεώρηση του Θουκυδίδη εγγράφεται στο πλαίσιο μιας πολιτικής σκέψης, ενώ του Πλάτωνα στο πλαίσιο μιας φιλοσοφικής αναζήτησης. | el |
| heal.abstract | This thesis attempts the philosophical introspection of the concepts of politics and leadership, as they are philosophically inscribed in Thucydides' History and Plato's Statesman. Specifically, the thesis examines the begginings of theoretical reflection on the political concept, which combines the dissimilarities of the members of the city and potentially can express the general interest of society as a whole. A close examination of Thucydides' text brings to light all of these ontological observations about the development of human nature and its perversions; combined with the way of understanding political process within the empirical reality in the context of the ancient Greek city. Plato’s Statesman attempts to establish politics on a scientific basis by examining different types of leadership and finally finding out the ideal paradigm of a leader in the royal weaver. Therefore, the study of these two texts provides an interesting re-approach of the concepts of politics and leadership from a philosophical point of view, even though Thucydides' approach is inscribed in the context of a political thought, while Plato's in the context of a philosophical research. | en |
