| heal.abstract | Η αυξανόμενη συχνότητα τόσο των φυσικών όσο και των ανθρωπογενών καταστροφών κατέστησε αναγκαία την επανεκτίμηση της προσέγγισής μας στις λύσεις προσωρινής στέγασης. Αυτά που κάποτε προορίζονταν ως βραχυπρόθεσμα καταλύματα σήμερα χρησιμοποιούνται συχνά για μεγάλες περιόδους. Αυτή η αλλαγή παραδείγματος έχει ωθήσει την αρχιτεκτονική σε αχαρτογράφητες περιοχες, όπου το απλό καταφύγιο δεν αρκεί πλέον. Είναι επιτακτική ανάγκη να επαναπροσδιοριστεί η έννοια της κατοίκησης στο πλαίσιο της προσωρινής στέγασης. Αυτή η εργασία διερευνά την αναδυόμενη προοπτική στη σύγχρονη αρχιτεκτονική, όπου οι προσωρινές κατοικίες δεν θεωρούνται πλέον ως καθαρά παροδικές. Αντίθετα, πρέπει να παρέχουν ασφάλεια, αξιοπρέπεια και βιωσιμότητα στους κατοίκους που συχνά βρίσκονται εκτοπισμένοι για περιόδους που υπερβαίνουν τη δεκαετία. Οι νέες αρχιτεκτονικές προσεγγίσεις πρέπει όχι μόνο να αντιμετωπίζουν τη φυσική προστασία από τις περιβαλλοντικές δυνάμεις αλλά και να ενθαρρύνουν τη συμμετοχή της κοινότητας, διασφαλίζοντας ότι οι κάτοικοι αισθάνονται ασφάλεια και σταθερότητα. Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο, η δημιουργικότητα και η καινοτομία είναι πρωταρχικής σημασίας για την αντιμετώπιση των προκλήσεων που τίθενται από αυτές τις εξελισσόμενες ανάγκες. Οι βιώσιμες και ανθεκτικές λύσεις στέγασης είναι επιτακτικές για την αντιμετώπιση καταστάσεων έκτακτης ανάγκης και την προσφορά βιώσιμων μακροπρόθεσμων προοπτικών για όσους επηρεάζονται. Αυτή η μελέτη εμβαθύνει στις αρχιτεκτονικές και κοινωνικές επιπτώσεις του επανασχεδιασμού της προσωρινής στέγασης, αναγνωρίζοντας τον κρίσιμο ρόλο που παίζει η κοινοτική συμμετοχή στην ενίσχυση της αίσθησης ασφάλειας και σταθερότητας. | heal.abstract | The increasing frequency of both natural and human-induced disasters has necessitated a reevaluation of our approach to temporary housing solutions. What were once intended as short-term accommodations are now frequently occupied for extended periods. This paradigm shift has propelled architecture into uncharted territory, where mere shelter is no longer sufficient. There is an urgent need to redefine the concept of habitation in the context of temporary housing. This paper explores the emerging perspective in contemporary architecture, where temporary dwellings are no longer seen as purely transient. Instead, they must provide security, dignity, and sustainability to residents who often find themselves displaced for periods exceeding a decade. New architectural approaches must not only address the physical protection from environmental forces but also foster community engagement, ensuring that inhabitants feel secure and stable. In this context, creativity and innovation are paramount in meeting the challenges posed by these evolving needs. Sustainable and resilient housing solutions are imperative in responding to emergencies and offering viable long-term prospects for those affected. This study delves into the architectural and societal implications of reimagining temporary housing, recognizing the crucial role that community participation plays in fostering a sense of security and stability.
