| heal.abstract | Η διπλωματική εργασία πραγματεύεται τον σχεδιασμό μιας έκθεσης με θέμα την τέχνη του δρόμου και τίτλο “there’s a whole world in there" που θα φιλοξενήσει το MOMus- Πειραματικό Κέντρο Τεχνών, στο Λιμάνι της Θεσσαλονίκης, στο πλαίσια του 13ου Street mode festival, το καλοκαίρι του 2024. Σκοπός της έκθεσης είναι να μεταφέρει τον επισκέπτη σε σημαντικούς σταθμούς για το graffiti και την mural art και σε κομβικές στιγμές. Αυτό γίνεται μέσα από μια περιήγηση στις πιο σημαντικές πόλεις για την πρακτική του graffiti και της mural art. Παράλληλα θα δοθεί στον επισκέπτης μια ευκαιρία να «ρίξει μια κλεφτή ματιά» στο παρασκήνιο της κουλτούρας του street art και μια ευκαιρία να γίνει και ο ίδιος μέρος σε αυτήν. Η έκθεση διαρθρώνεται με τον εξής τρόπο, στο κεντρικό εκθεσιακό χώρο υπάρχει ένα κομμάτι που αναφέρεται στις πόλεις και μπορεί κάνεις να περιηγηθεί μέσα από οθόνες αφής στους graffiti και mural χάρτες. Περιφερειακά βρίσκονται διάφορες φωτογραφίες αρχείου που είναι κομβικές ώστε να μεταφέρουν την εικόνα της κάθε εποχής και υπό τα ακούσματα της hip hop μουσική της εκάστοτε δεκαετίας. Μέσα από γραμμές στο πάτωμα μπορεί ο επισκέπτης να οδηγηθεί ώστε να μάθει για την πόλη που του κινεί το ενδιαφέρον. Στο πατάρι του μουσείου μπορεί να μάθει για τα μυστικά των καλλιτεχνών, να δει πως αυτοί οι καλλιτέχνες έμαθαν την τέχνη, πως διαδόθηκε, πως προστατεύονται, πως την εξελίσσουν και βιοπορίζονται και να γίνει και ο ίδιος ο επισκέπτης μέρος της έκθεσης. Παράλληλα, για τον σκοπό της έκθεσης, έχουν σχεδιαστεί μια σειρά από αντικείμενα που είναι εμπνευσμένα από την βιομηχανική αισθητική που είναι αρθρωτά, ώστε να μπορούν να λυθούν και να ταξιδέψουν εύκολα σε όποια πόλη μεταφερθεί αυτή η έκθεση. Ο τρόπος που είναι οργανωμένη η έκθεση ευνοεί μια σειρά από παράλληλα γεγονότα, τα οποία μπορούν να συμμετέχουν λιγότεροι ή περισσότεροι οι επισκέπτες. Η επιλογή αυτού του θέματος, προέκυψε λόγω προσωπικού ενδιαφέροντος για αυτή την μορφή τέχνης που ενώ σε μεγάλο βαθμό συνεχίζει να είναι αμφιλεγόμενη για τις πόλεις, ένα κομμάτι του «ανθίζει» σε μουσεία, gallery, festival ,branding καταστημάτων και μεγάλες επιφάνειες δημόσιων και ιδιωτικών χώρων. Επίσης αποτελεί συνέχεια της ερευνητικής εργασίας με θέμα «Τέχνη του δρόμου: Από την επιβολή στην συμφιλίωση» η οποία πραγματεύεται την παρουσίαση της ιστορίας του graffiti και στην ανάδειξη της σχέσης του με την mural art. | el |
| heal.abstract | The thesis deals with the design of an exhibition on street art entitled "there's a whole world in there" that will be hosted by MOMus-Piramatic Arts Centre, at the Port of Thessaloniki, in the context of the 13th Street mode festival, in the summer of 2024. The aim of the exhibition is to take the visitor to important milestones for graffiti and mural art and to key moments. This is done through a tour of the most important cities for the practice of graffiti and mural art. At the same time, the visitor will be given a chance to "take a sneak peek" behind the scenes of street art culture and a chance to become part of it themselves. The exhibition is structured in the following way, in the main exhibition space there is a section on cities and you can navigate through touch screens to the graffiti and mural maps. Peripherally are various archive photos photos that are key to convey the image of each era and under the sounds of the hip hop music of each decade. Through lines on the floor, visitors can be guided to learn about the city of interest. In the museum's loft, visitors can learn about the secrets of the artists, see how these artists learned the art, how it was spread, how they were protected, how they developed it and made a living, and become part of the exhibition themselves. At the same time, for the purpose of the exhibition, a series of objects inspired by industrial aesthetics have been designed that are modular, so that they can be dismantled and easily travel to any city where this exhibition is transported. The way the exhibition is organized favors a series of parallel events that fewer or more visitors can participate in. The choice of this theme, came about because of a personal interest in this art form that while largely still controversial for cities, a part of it "flourishes" in museums, galleries, festivals, store branding and large surfaces of public and private spaces. It is also a continuation of the research project on 'Street Art: From imposition to reconciliation" which deals with presenting the history of graffiti and highlighting its relationship with mural art. | en |
